Having taken my time to read trending stories of this family, my humble analysis

1. I don't think that marrying many wives has been a problem in this part of the world

2. If you must take a second, third or fourth wife you should deem it necessary to carry the existing wife/wives along

3. In a situation where the existing wife/wives are not in agreement with you, a peaceful resolution should be considered

4. When the parties involve didn't come to a peaceful resolution, two things are involved is either you give up on bringing the second person or you go to court and end things the official way

Dear Parents

Don't train your daughters with the goal of becoming wives. Marriage is not all that makes a woman. Train your daughters to have self esteem and confidence. Train your daughters to be independent and self sufficient. Train your daughters that their value does not come from a man.

Is it not funny that we train daughters to be ready for marriage and motherhood but neglect to train sons to become responsible fathers and providers? We train women to submit but neglect to train the men on what responsible leadership entails. A responsible man will not beat his wife no matter the reason. There is no justifiable reason under Heaven for a man to lay his hands on his wife.

Most women who are stuck in abusive relationships and marriages many times lack the financial power to be independent. They rely solely on the man. That's why most times the men take advantage of that to enslave the women.

Give your daughters education and empower them to be independent and self-sufficient.

Ladies your self-worth does not come from marriage. Christ is your saviour not your Pastor or Husband. Do not let anyone manipulate you with scriptures.

The same God that hates divorce also forbids murder.......
