IN 2019 HE DENIED HAVING ANY KNOWLEDGE ABOUT THE FISHROT CORRUPTION SCANDAL OF N$2,208,750,000.00 (N$2.2 BILLION) USD $150.000,000

In 2015, barely 9 months into office, he denied allegations of Government's excessive spending.

In 2016, he rejected the notion of large-scale land expropriation, cautioning that 'compulsory expropriation of white-owned farms' would cause instability.

In 2017, he denied the "Moody downgrade" report, saying that things are rather getting better; then he and the Finance Minister denied Namibia being a "Tax haven" in the same year; Again, in 2017, he denied that SME Bank was his project, whilst them were busy shutting down the financially ruined institution.

In November 2017, whilst a SWAPO presidential hopeful, Cde. Hage Geingob has rejected claims that he wants to bring in "a (voting) machine" from the United States of America in a bid to rig voting at the ruling party congress.

Addressing the claim, he rhetorically asked the gathering: "What is wrong with our people?"

Geingob also dismissed claims that SWAPO has changed, as suggested by some party leaders, saying "it has not changed, although times are changing".

Upon setting up his Administration, there has been arguments from public that Government's Executive wing has become bloated, but he admitted to it already during a press conference where he announced a new Cabinet.

Early this month of April 2018, while on his trip to China, the Head of State has denied that Africa-China relations have any colonization motives.

This week, 08 April-11 April 2018, the Honorable is demanding Radio France International to withdraw a widely circulated online article suggesting that he received questionable payments from the sale of Canadian firm UraMin's Namibian assets to Areva, a French nuclear power company.

Failure to do so could prompt the President to take unspecified action against the French broadcaster, his lawyers stated in a 10 pointed letter of complaint.
