We are deeply saddened by the passing of our President, His Excellency Dr Hage G. Geingob. As we mourn his loss, we extend our heartfelt condolences to Dr. Geingob's family. His Excellency’s legacy is a shining example of a life well-lived and a true testament to his remarkable character, leadership, and vision.

We had the pleasure of flying on the same airplane back in 2014, a few months before he became our president. I remember him being very polite and friendly, Dr. Geingob and Monica even posed with my son for a quick photo before boarding the plane.

And then I had the honour in 2015 to light the interview where Dr. Geingob spoke about his 'Harambee Initiative". We will remember him for his outstanding contributions to the growth and development of our nation and his unwavering commitment to social justice and equality.

May he rest in Peace..

Happy !
Today we celebrate animals in all shapes and sizes, including the amazing diversity of animals in our ocean.

Common eaglerays are often caught by anglers fishing from the beach in Namibia. These graceful swimmers are harmless to humans, but anglers should handle them carefully because of the sharp spine at the base of their long tail.
Because they are caught in fisheries in other parts of the world, they are listed as Critically Endangered on the IUCN Red List of Threatened Species. We are lucky to have these beautiful little rays in Namibia!

Many thanks to Two Oceans Aquarium and 42 Films Namibia for this footage.

Go out and grab life by the handle. 💪🏻 🎥 ⠀

Nomad Director getting the camera into all kinds of positions for a scene in Namibia, Africa. 🇳🇦 ⠀

Due to specific demanding shots, having to contend with the elements and wildly varied conditions around the world, and electing to use no film lights for the entire filming of Nomad, we needed the most cutting edge camera technology and tools to be able to pull off this insane endeavor. 🎥 ⠀

and gear came through in spades. We’re grateful for their support, and consistent innovation. 🎬⠀
