The main stream media and indeed the government owned media have paid little or no attention to Vision 2030. The awareness of government activities, the objectives and achievements is low amongst elites and enlightened Namibians and almost non-existent amongst the generality of the Namibian populace. Vision 2030 Focus monthly magazine therefore provides a platform for the Government and all concer

ned stakeholders to be able to create the awareness that is currently lacking, provide a veritable source for Vision 2030 information whether for academic or economic development and monitor/articulate in clear terms achievement of government and stakeholders of Vision 2030. The magazine seeks to provide a platform for the publicity of Vision 2030 plans, activities and implementation of projects by Ministries, Departments, Agencies, State Owned Enterprises and Private Sector. As a result, the magazine aspires to improve overall awareness of achievement of Vision 2030 objectives and thereby contribute to building up knowledge-based societies and economies in developing areas of Namibia
