👋 Since we have quite a few new followers, we thought its time that we introduce our Wildlife Vets Namibia team! Next up, our foreman Frederick!

Frederick is both our foreman and right-hand man. He has been working in the game capture industry since 2000, and since 2004 he works for Ulf. Frederick is not just highly experienced in the capture and care of all our game species - from small antelopes to rhinos and elephants - he is also a reliable truck driver and has been all over southern Africa. He is also a competent mechanic and welder. In short, Frederick is a jack and master of all trades!

Frederick enjoys working with all species.

Conservation efforts in Namibia and the larger Southern Africa environment face numerous challenges, and the danger of lead poisoning to vultures, meat, and humans is a significant concern.

Dr. Janine Sharpe and MEFT is hosting the first Namibia- Lead awareness workshop on the 27-28 February 2024 at Arebbusch Travel Lodge and Conference Centre.

The aim of the conference to spread the awareness of the dangers of lead, by using a multiprong approach to the subject. If we approach this with a One health attitude, we could make some serious strides forward.
