SWAKOPMUND UNITE
UNITED BY LIGHT is the Brainchild of Alex Christow who owns Corporate Event Gear, which supplies technical equipment to the Event and conferencing Industry. Oliver Ahrens runs a Digital Agency called CWell Media Namibia and was approached by Alex to get this exciting project UNITED BY LIGHT off the ground.
The Idea is to show how different types of businesses can create SMART partnerships by being innovative, creative and create a sustainable new product that can be successful for each business.
UNITED BY LIGHT has the mission to market Swakopmund as a town and highlight its amazing architecture. The other reason why this project was born, is to show that only united we can overcome difficult times and only together, being disruptive survive in the competitive world today.
Our first UNITED BY LIGHT NIGHT will be to showcase what we can do and how we go about doing this. Another aspect is to create some awareness of the dire situation businesses are in and that we need to find solutions on how to support Industries like Tourism and the Events & Conferencing Industry.
