Meet Mo Monique ten Kortenaar

Monique, Mo for most, has been (and still is) a distiller for Lucas Bols and Wynand Fockink for many years. OTENBA is the first step in her mission to link spirits, people and knowledge in the bar industry.

OTENBA - a sorta gin, a kinda genever Two spirits build upon each other's strengths and similarities to create something new. That juniper lovechild is distilled with pandan, lemongrass, Sencha tea and sansho pepper. Not just to honour Jacob’s (Mo’s grandfather) love for Asia, but to add some kindness to the outspoken characteristics of these juniper(berry) based spirits as well.

⁃ Received a silver medal for Wynand Fockink’s IPA Jenever ⁃ Has distilled more than 10,000 liters of gin and jenever for Wynand Fockink and Bols
⁃ Is an ambassador for The Scotch Malt Whiskey Society Benelux
⁃ Has been a member of the jury for various bartender competitions
⁃ Has been a key speaker at events for women in the spirits industry

Class 87’, Giovanni has built up his career in bartending in several cities around the world.

He brought his experience through out Barcelona and London, in which he ran the well-knownMr.Foggs Gin Parlour. He’s now in Kuala Lumpur ready to start a new adventure.

Jabber Bunch is a project created in 2020 by two italian bartenders ,Alice Bidini and Giovanni Andrea Magliaro, born to share hospitality tales.

Alice Bidini

Born and raised in Rome, Alice fell in love with the bartending almost 10 years ago when she starting rocking behind the counters of the Italian capital.

After spending 3 years in London where she had the chance to work in differents 5 star Hotels such as the The Dorchester and Michelin starred restaurants she’s now in Kuala Lumpur working on new Bar projects.
