i. Research industry-related topics (combining online sources, interviews and studies,
ii. Write clear marketing copy to promote Sinar Harian products and services,
iii. Proofread and edit blog posts before publishing,
iv. Coordinate with marketing and design teams to illustrate articles,
v. Identify customers needs and gaps in our content and recommend new topics,
vi. Ensure all-round consistency (style, fonts, images and tone),
vii. Update website content as needed,
viii. Liaising with media, printers, and publishers as required and managing the production of marketing materials such as leaflets, flyers, posters and newsletters including e-newsletters.
ix. Liaising with events coordinators to maximize visibility at conferences, receptions and exhibitions including compiling product and literatures lists to display or demonstrate,
x. Attending key conferences to manage booth, do customer interviews and focus groups.

1. Responsible in selling advertising packages to clients across all sellable medium such as print. Digital, social media, events.
2. To achieve KPI set by the management and ensure the balance of interest between client and company.
3. To fully understand the industry which the advertising executive is assigned too in terms of:
a) Market players within the industry,
b) Industrial potential growth,
c) Industry pit falls and drawbacks,
4. To fully understand the product that is being represented. Therefore will require:
a) High level of product knowledge
b) Study of competitor
c) Product future plan
5. To prospect for clients via all available medium such as event networking, newspaper, business directory, magazines, TV, radio and etc.
6. To prepare proposal to potential and existing clients. Proposal to consist of a creative and solid campaign encompassing print, digital, social media and events to ensure clients message is achievable to maximum exposure.
7. Set up appointment with prospect / clients and present to convince clients to sign the advertising packages.
8. To ensure all sales transactions and paperwork are done according to procedure and in a timely manner (ensure in accordance to the company’s SOP):
a) Contract
b) Invoice / statement of account
c) Collection
9. Ensure advertising concepts and design for client is in accordance to internal specifications and meet clients desire.
10. Closely monitoring advertising materials receive in time and liaise with the relevant unit such as Graphic Teams, Commercial Teams, Digital Teams and Editorial Teams.
11. Ensure all advertising deliverable being executed accordingly.
12. Minimize cancelation of ads form clients by constantly communications with them.
13. To actively participate in all activities and events held by the company.3

Requirement:
1. Qualification: Diploma / Degree in Marketing / Sales / Business or in related discipline.
2. Experience: 1-2 years in related field.
3. Knowledge: Able to converse fluently in English and Malay / Creative in curating sales packages.
4. Personality: Willing to learn, Independents, Attentive to details, willing to travels.
