After so long out of the camping game, with so many new campsites introduced, it was difficult to choose which one to start with first. Luckily we chose this campsite, its was totally the right choice, walaupun jauh tapi best sangat, and family friendly.
We’ll review the campsite in the next few posts ye 😁 post-camping blues today, nak kena kemas n cuci barang2 camping dulu.

Im back 🥰 lama sis hibernate dari ig ni. Sejak balik dari Indo trip tak sempat lagi update kat sini. Yelah trip yang sepatutnya 12 hari kami extend jadi 21 hari 🤭 so gambar dalam gallery pun beribu2 dah ni.

Its been 2 months since our last camp. The kids has been asking when is our next trip will be.
Other than daily commitment, events and school activities, the stomach infection/poisoning the whole family had from our last camping trip, made mommy here a lil bit traumatic and super cautious. Nak cari campsite yang bukan tepi sungai dan bukan tepi laut dulu 😅 nak relax2 tengok permandangan je.

The challenging December 2023. The whole month of December, the kids were ill and were diagnosed with pneumonia, and then mommy fall sick, then we recovered and went for a day trip picnic. One day after, the whole family is down with food poisoning and both kids got warded and we celebrated new year in hospital. Hoping for a healthier 2024 for everyone.

The reality of camping. Memang akan bersepah macam ni especially when there kids 😁 Thats why all those shelves and racks and boxes really help. To store stuffs so that animals dont come and disturb, so that when it rains the food wont get wet, so that when kids come screaming where is the snack where is the plates, they know where to look for it themselves. Its such a small space so space saving and organizational camping furniture really functions well. Bukannya ada cabinet mcm kat rumah kan 🤭

Time ni lah macam2 bau sedap dari jiran2 yang semua tengah masak, atau bakar membakar.
Time ni, anak2 kalau masih banyak energy lagi akan hilang masuk khemah jiran sebelah or join dorang makan sekali 🤦‍♀️

We turned the front part of this Geopath tent into a tatami style living room, using the Coleman living room floor sheet. The groundsheet is boxed up at all corners, and all sides are raised up, so tak mudah basah or masuk pasir or insects merayap masuk.
Best jugak setup macam ni, boleh baring golek2 sambil menikmati angin laut 😁 kids pun s**a lepak2 main kat depan ni.

Who would have thought that you can have winter holidays in Indonesia 😉
Cheap winter holiday close to home with affordable currency exchange rate and super delicious food. Whats not to like?
Night weather is between 3-5 degrees, sometimes in June or July it can go down to zero degrees.
A great place for a short escape for those looking for winter holiday experience. 😉✌️

We braced the coldness of the night, and stayed out late for star gazing. Mengopi dan mengeteh at its best, tak berani bukak glove, tangan beku 😅

First time camping in the most back-to-basic dome tent. We only had thermal floor mat, sleeping bag and one lamp. Pole khemah pun guna pakai hiking pole jek 😂 guy line pakai tali rafia, peg pakai kayu2 hutan je.
We took a porter package, who brought up all the camping gears and set it up for us. Kalau kitorang yang bawak sendiri terjadi mountain glamping pulak nanti 😅

It was super cold at night, reaching zero degrees in the morning. Nasib baik sleeping bag dorang bagi yg tebal with inner liner bulu2 😂 Solat pun tayammum je. Initially we had dinner in the tent, tapi lepas tu sambung coffee session outside, a freezing coffee session while star gazing.

It was a great first time experience for us. Lain kali will be more ready for cold weather. 💪

Something that I’ve never dreamed of doing before. Something that I didnt think I can ever achieved.
Pegi jogging pun once in 3 months maybe. Dont know what inspired me to do this. It was my crazy idea. I researched and trained everyday for almost 3 weeks. Bought all new gears 😁 to motivate me. Chose a mountain thats friendly for beginners, (wonosobo is surrounded by 7 mountains) and just tawakal. Alhamdulillah we reached the peak in less than the guide’s estimated time.

Im glad I did this. It was really a surreal experience and subhanallah we get to see the most amazing and spectacular view, sangat2 cantik alam Allah. Thank you Allah for the opportunity.

Currently trying to plan for a camping trip outside of Malaysia 😉 I’m thinking of buying a small tent thats lightweight, small in storage size and enough to fit 4 of us. Or maybe Im just looking for an excuse to buy another tent 😅 (only campers knows this feeling, sentiasa mencari barang camping baru nak top up to collection)

Masa ni kami sewa khemah Vidalido Mx Pro Large sebab ada siblings nak ikut camping. Nampak mcm kecik but actually quite roomy and fits 2-4 pax. We removed the middle pole and change it to 2 side poles with an adapter, so khemah nampak lebih luas. Kids were happy playing inside, they said its their play tent, sebab comel je khemah ni.

Quite flexible juga tent ni sebab awning dia boleh adjust macam2 cara, buka kecik, buka besar, buka tepi saja buka kiri kanan 😂 semua boleh. Nak pasang tent ni pun senang je. Good to have this as a spare/ extra tent, untuk yang ada family besar, sekejap2 ada adik beradik nak ikut camping or cousins niece nephew or kawan nak join, or for couple camping yang taknak khemah besar2.

What used to be weekend hotel huntings now has changed to campsite hunting. And it gives us the same staycation vibes, but I must say nowadays are more satisfying. 🥰

This week punya mood suci murni gitu warna putih. 😅 susah jugak nak mencari barang warna putih ni, the racun is real, the temptation to buy and add more stuff is so irresistable 😅 tak pandang dah nak beli handbag baru skrg ni, semua barang camping je yang sampai rumah sekarang.

We were lucky to have found a beautiful hidden gems like this. A small private glamping site by the beach in Melaka, with complete facilities.
