The second Universiti Teknologi MARA Journal Copyeditor's Competency Workshop has been successfully conducted on 21 September 2023. A total of 14 participants from various UiTM journals were briefed by Miss Nur Hamizah Mohd Radzi, executive officer for publication, RMC on the process of journal publication with a focus on the copyediting stage. Participants were given hands-on assignments using the standardized layout for the UiTM journal, and the evaluations were conducted by Madam Norfilzah Wahidon, Head of the Journal Unit, UiTM Press.

Universiti Teknologi MARA Journal Copyeditor Competency Workshop has-been conducted on 20 and 21 July 2023 at Institute of Leadership and Development. A total of 28 journal copyeditors from various colleges, campuses, and faculties attended the workshop. Prof. Hamedi Mohd Adnan delivered a talk about the roles and responsibilities of a copyeditor, and the rest of the hands-on sessions were conducted by Associate Professor Dr Yong Soon Kong (DOI), Miss Nur Hamizah Mohd Radzi, Mss. Norfilzah Wahidon, and Mss. Aizan Ainulsarah Alwi (Copyediting and Layout using Adobe InDesign).

The Ethics and Publication Unit, Research Management Center (RMC), UiTM has conducted the UiTM Journal Policy Workshop at the Institute of Leadership and Development (ILD), UiTM. The workshop was attended by YBhg. Professor Ts. Dr. Norazah Abd Rahman, the Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Research & Innovation) and editors of UiTM journals from all state branch campuses.
The event served as an avenue for the UiTM administrators to engage journal editors and to allow closer collaboration for the sole objective of moving UiTM Journals towards international recognition.

BENGKEL PEMERKASAAN POLISI JURNAL

BERTEMPAT DI ILD, BANDAR ENSTEK

Telah berlangsung Bengkel Pemerkasaan Polisi Jurnal UiTM di Institut Kepimpinan dan Pembangunan UiTM - ILD UiTM.

Bengkel dihadiri oleh kesemua editor utama jurnal UiTM untuk berbincang hala tuju dan strategi pemerkasaan untuk jangka masa panjang. Bengkel anjuran Unit Etika dan Penerbitan, Pusat Pengurusan Penyelidikan (RMC), UiTM ini turut dihadiri YBhg. Profesor Ts. Dr Norazah Abd Rahman, Timbalan Naib Canselor (Penyelidikan & Inovasi). Beliau hadir untuk memberi sokongan dan menerangkan kepentingan konsolidasi demi menyediakan platfom dan ruangan berimpak dalam penerbitan artikel dan hasil penyelidikan di UiTM.

Setakat Mac 2022, UiTM mempunyai 54 jurnal dari pelbagai bidang. Sebanyak tiga puluh (30) jurnal UiTM telah berjaya disenaraikan dalam MyCite 2020, tiga belas (13) jurnal diindeks Asean Citation Indexed (ACI), tiga jurnal diindeks Scopus, dan satu jurnal diindeks Web of Science (WOS) dan tiga jurnal UiTM berindeks ERA. Tahniah dan syabas kepada warga Jurnal UiTM.

Semoga hasil perbincangan di bengkel ini akan membuahkan hasil untuk UiTM maju terus kehadapan dalam penerbitan di jurnal jurnal UiTM.

Sukacitanya dimaklumkan bahawa Unit Etika & Penerbitan, Pusat Pengurusan Penyelidikan (RMC) akan menganjurkan Majlis Anugerah Jurnal UiTM 2021 bagi meraikan 30 jurnal UiTM yang telah berjaya diindeks MyCite 2020. Pemenang bagi Anugerah Jurnal Terbaik Dalam Bidang Sains Sosial dan Sains & Teknologi akan turut diumumkan dalam majlis ini.
