Rahassa, a one man band from Kulim, Kedah recently released "HyailtannazZ Leluhur" CD limited to 25 copies have become more dominant than ever in its context of lo-fi ambient black metal. A is the sole monicker behind this dirty and raw piece of black art really put a huge effort in spreading darkness beyond its limits.
With an interesting intro to start the CD, Rahassa managed to portray and embrace a very strong influence deep down from the current European black metal/dungeon synth scene, piercing those innocent ears without mercy while not forgetting its local Eastern black metal roots at all.
A well delivered lo-fi black metal music that easily can cater listeners, local and international due to its nature of combining the harshness and raw black metal with elements that are synonym but blended in a very special and specific way. In this release there are synths and acoustic parts with some cool interludes betwen songs to capture and enhance the feel of pure evil!
Rahassa is a band that continues to deliver and stays true in whatever it stand for without doubt. As for "HyailtannazZ Leluhur", some may like and others might hate it but whatever is the outcome, Rahassa will continue to haunt and invoke the spirits of its roots and beliefs into the extreme music world and possess!
