Our very first LRT line in construction. This picture was taken around 1994 from Dataran Maybank. I was still an art student then. Everyday around 6 am before I go to class, I would go there on my kapcai and wait for the action. For 2 weeks, I waited and finally the workers showed up. Shot with Kodak Ektachrome. I also took a joyride on the LRT when they were doing trail run. Still have the plastic ticket as souvenir.

Gate to heaven. At Pura Lempuyang, Bali. The process is like factory production. We were given a number at the entrance and everyone wait for their turn. When a name is called, hand over the phone to the attendants who where sat in front of the gate. Then when on to pose at the gate. the mirror image is created using a black perspex at the bottom of the phone. And everyone has almost identical Instagram image. We couldn't be bother to wait for our turn. It was about 2 hours wait. So I just took a picture of someone posing and created the mirror image using PS

Kanto Lampo Waterfall, Bali. To reach there, we have to decent down to the bottom of a small gorge, then wade through the river. There are Balinese assistants to help you take your Instagram photo with your phone. They will even provide ideas on how to pose.

Kecak Dance Performace. Ubud, Bali. A must watch performance. Cost about Rp75-100K. It was about 1 hour of enchanting performance. This dance is performance in many places but the unique one is at Uluwatu Temple with a backdrop of sunset.

Balik Kampung. Near Bahau tucked between 2 roads that go to Bahau from Kuala Pilah lies Kampung Lonek. It's a world of itself. Narrow roads zig-zag around padi fields and rubber estates. Tradisional Malay houses can still be seen here. It is serene, peaceful and really friendly folks.
