Only allowed 2 (division 1) player in teams.
*playing on 2023/2024 mxbl full 3 leg division 1 players - consider division 1.

Financial and Voluntary Commitment:
The financial commitment required from tournament owners and the need for professional honesty among players are indeed voluntary elements, which can make consistent implementation of systems like APPA/PBLI challenging. Without compelling incentives or regulations, maintaining these standards becomes difficult.

Player Progression Reluctance:
The reluctance of ROOKIE/D4 teams to move up to higher divisions like D3, and similarly, the hesitation of D3 players to advance to D1/OPEN, is a significant barrier. This stagnation can lead to a lack of new talent emerging at the top levels, which is necessary for the sport's evolution.

Semi-Serious Participation:
Many players treat paintball as a recreational activity rather than a serious competitive pursuit. While there's nothing wrong with this approach, it does impact the overall structure and dynamics of the sport. Encouraging more players to commit seriously could help elevate the competitive level and bring new energy into higher divisions.

Reason for Stagnation:

One reason Malaysian paintball might be stagnant is the lack of a clear, enforced pathway for player progression. Without a structured system that encourages and rewards moving up the ranks, players may feel comfortable staying in lower divisions where the competition is less intense and the financial and time commitments are lower.

Proposed Solutions:

Incentivize Advancement:
Create incentives for teams and players to move up divisions. This could include financial rewards, sponsorships, or recognition at national levels. Making the benefits of advancing clear and tangible could motivate more players to take the leap.

Structured Pathways:
Implement a structured and enforced progression system where players and teams must advance after achieving certain milestones or winning a certain number of tournaments. This would prevent stagnation and ensure a steady flow of talent moving up the ranks.

Support Systems for New Teams:
Provide more support for new and upcoming teams, such as mentorship programs, financial assistance, or training camps. This can help lower the barrier to entry and encourage more players to join the sport at the ROOKIE/D4 level.

Community Engagement:
Foster a strong community culture that values progression and competitive spirit. Regularly highlight success stories of teams and players who have advanced through the ranks to inspire others.

But in the end, it's easier said than done. I have tried to apply this in the Winter Paintball League - Malaysia, try to focus on D4 and D3 and while it is possible, you can't do it alone. You need to stay committed and leave all negativity behind.

This is an awesome afford. We need something more like this.

I know in Mudtrekker Paintball Park - MTZ Paintball Park doing this also where they gather all those ppl want to play paintball but dont have enough play so they combine all those ppl to form up a team and play.

In Canyon Paintball I guess team 7 Samurai Paintball also active doing this last year.

Is there others doing the same afford? If have drops some comments and share on social media. Why? So people know about this :). Good afford need to be share.
