We do not limit ourselves and are open to new and unique challenges. Boasting complementary skill sets and diverse backgrounds in the broadcasting business, we run a lean, mean content producing team.

Congratulations to CCTV (recipient of the Sixtymac Students Short Film Grant 2024) for being selected for the 19th Krishen Jit Fund!

Since its establishment in 2006, The Krishen Jit Fund has supported 95 projects by artists and cultural practitioners working across Malaysia.

We can’t wait to see this short film come to life!

We are excited to announce the two recipients of the Sixtymac Students Short Film Grants 2024!

* CCTV – Multimedia University Cyberjaya
Director: Farrah Anne
Producer: Cheryl Lisa

* Big Girl – Sunway University
Director: Aisha Abdul Halim
Producer: Chew Yun Han

Each project will receive a cash grant of RM 3,000.00 to support the production of their short films!

At Sixtymac, our main objective is to support student filmmakers in achieving their creative goals and to help them adapt to the international filmmaking industry. We believe in empowering the next generation of filmmakers to tell their stories and develop the skills necessary to succeed on a global scale.

Call for application!

The Sixtymac Student Shorts Film Grant is now open for submissions! We invite Malaysian students working on short film projects to apply. Two outstanding projects will be selected to receive RM 3,000 each to bring their creative visions to life.

Great news! The short film "WALAY BALAY," co-directed by Malaysian filmmaker Gogularaajan Rajendran and Filipino director Eve Baswel, has premiered successfully at the 56th Cannes Directors' Fortnight!

The PASSPORT band members are growing, and we’re thrilled to announce our first co-production partnership with Bradley Liew from Epicmedia (The Philippines)!

Amidst many heartfelt discussions about filmmaking, punk rock music, and various other engaging topics during our shared meals and drinks, we're humbly cultivating something we deeply cherish. The joining forces from Epicmedia no doubt will be a very strong power to support all of us to hit the dream of making our first feature, THE PASSPORT, come true in the near future. We’re grateful to have such an amazing partner by our side.
