Perikatan Nasional election director Muhammad Sanusi Md Nor is the latest PAS leader to make it clear that no tears would be shed if Gerakan chose to leave the coalition.

The Kedah menteri besar also said the Gerakan leadership must learn to respect the Malays and Islam in Malaysia.

Earlier Gerakan deputy president Oh Tong Keong said the party would not hesitate to leave PN if it means defending the Chinese education system.

He said Gerakan would not stay in a coalition if it is forced to accept extremely conservative and unreasonable demands of a "particular party".

On November 17, 2022, the Hague District Court sentenced two Russians, Igor Girkin and Sergei Dubinsky, and Ukrainian Leonid Kharchenko to life imprisonment for their role in the downing of MH17 and the murders of those aboard. Another Russian, Oleg Pulatov, was acquitted.

[KiniNews] While certain parties have often ridiculed Machang MP Wan Ahmad Fayhsal Wan Ahmad Kamal for his views, an academic on the other hand sees great potential in the figure of the Bersatu Youth leader.

In the eyes of Universiti Sains Malaysia (USM) political science professor, Ahmad Fauzi Abdul Hamid, he does not rule out the possibility that Wan Fayhsal can go further and be significant in politics.

He said there are some quality characteristics in Wan Fayhsal such as high spirit, outspokenness and concern for the plight of Muslims abroad.

Meanwhile, in a separate story, four suspects who had been detained to assist in the investigation of the kidnapping case involving six-year-old Albertine Leo Jia Hui were released on police bail today.

Iskandar Puteri police chief Assistant Commissioner M. Kumarasan reportedly said that their remand order, which ended today, was not extended.
