Want to watch movies at cinemas? Now you can, starting today!
1 July--The cinemas are now back in business, starting today. If you are eager to head to one, here's are 8 things you must know before you go:
1. Limited operating hours.
GSC is only open on:
Monday – Thursday (1PM – 10PM)
Friday – Saturday (12PM – 12AM)
Sunday (11AM – 10PM)
GSC at 3 Damansara, Terminal One, CityOne Kuching and Bintang Megamall Miri remain closed until further notice.
TGV is only open on:
Monday – Thursday (12PM – 9PM)
Friday, Saturday & Public Holiday Eve (12PM – 12AM)
Sunday & Public Holidays (11AM – 9PM)
TGV at 1Utama reopens on 4 July, Encorp Strand, Cheras Selatan and Bukit Tinggi reopen on 9 July and TGV Vivacity and Miri remain closed until further notice.
MBO is only open on:
Monday – Wednesday (6PM onwards)
Thursday & Friday (3PM onwards)
Saturday, Sunday & Public Holidays (12PM onwards)
MBO at Harbour Place Klang, Space U8, Melaka Mall, U Mall Skudai and The Spring Kuching remain closed until further notice.
2. Those aged 12 and below, and aged 60 and above, are not allowed to enter.
3. Cinema-goers and staff must provide contact details to facilitate contact tracing. You are encouraged to use the MySejahtera app.
4. Anyone with temperatures above 37.5ºC will not be allowed to enter.
5. You are encouraged to use hand sanitizers provided as often as possible.
6. You must wear a face mask.
7. You must practise social distancing: only sit at designated seats in the halls, and queue along the markers. You are not allowed to sit next to your family/friends even if you are from the same household, or group.
8. SOP requires cinema operators to clean and disinfect cinema halls after every screening.
Some cinemas might have other additional SOPs, so for your safety, kindly adhere and cooperate with them.
