Nightjar, formed in 2020, is a four-piece hardcore punk band from Kuala Lumpur. Comprising Jimmy Idris (vocals), Sam Pangkers (guitar), ljam (drums), and Afnan 48V (guitar), Nightjar emerged from the remnants of the disbanded thrashcore group Su***de Me Not!
(2003-2007). Drawing
inspiration from diverse genres,
Nightjar released their first single ‘Kau Bukan Bossku’ in November 2022, followed by
‘Nightcrawler’ in July 2023.

This raw, chaotic and emotional act from Malacca city charged aural journey examines the fluctuating and contrasting emotions that are characteristic of disorder, delving into the rollercoaster of highs and lows that the condition can induce with all the lyrics in Bahasa. By employing forceful percussion, frenetic guitar riffs, and piercing screams, the chaotic and cathartic nature of the human psyche is effectively communicated. By combining mesmerising melodies and forceful instrumentation, "Bipolar Evakuasi Abritate" invites those in attendance to partake in a profound and emotional auditory encounter that reflects the turbulent depths of the human psyche in tandem with their evocative expression.
