An undeniable Sarawakian flavour, Terung Asam (Sour Eggplant) is often used in fish soups and curries, though it can also be made into paste, sambal, and even ice cream! Assigned the Protected Geographic Indication status in 2011, it has become an exclusive product of Sarawak. If you haven't tried it before, this is a sign that you should give it a go!
