Alginate Wound Dressing

Alginate wound dressing is a highly absorbent wound dressing & can be used as a primary dressing on variety of wound types. Calcium alginate dressing promotes haemostasias in bleeding wounds. They are indicated for moderate to heavily exudating wounds such as:
▶diabetic ulcer, leg ulcer, pressure ulcer
▶Ulcers of various origins (venous, arterial)
▶ Deep & tunnelling wounds
▶Skin donor sites
▶Post-operative surgical wounds
▶Superficial & partial thickness burns
▶ Lacerations/Abrasions/Skin Tears
