Kenyalang CNY Bazaar 2022 is coming to an end on the 31st of January. Hurry and go check it out if you haven’t been there. For those who are away from Kuching, let TwoTwo Studio And 何康偉 KENWY HO bring you a nostalgic sense of home through music and video.
The two songs “Celebration” and “The Big Day”, are definitely well-known among Malaysians. The songs are locally produced by ASTRO. They've become our generation’s CNY songs and also a part of every Malaysians’ memory when we're growing up. Just like the Kenyalang CNY Bazaar, every Kuchingnite has a story to tell.
Chinese New Year is coming very soon, we wish everyone a Happy New Year and good health.
TwoTwo Studio Cover
TwoTwo Studio & Tea FM
Coming up with a new idea for a New Year song video is tricky. So our director follows the traditional way, which is to wear red and walk around singing. Hope everyone enjoys it.
TwoTwo Studio and Tea FM collaborate once more. Here we have Esther 田育慈 , Diana Liu 刘婉莹 and Adrian Lim perform three classic New Year songs to everyone. We’d also like to thank David Koon of Apextar Academy 易達學院 for producing this cover.
TwoTwo Studio & Tea FM once again wish everyone a Happy New Year.
《说不出的快活》by TwoTwo Studio ft. Diana Liu & Adrian Lim
Ja Jambo
Many may not be familiar with this song “Indescribable Happiness (Ja Jambo)”, perhaps it will rekindle some memory when you hear the singer sings Ja Jambo~~~ Around 60 years ago (1960), in the movie “The Wild, Wild Rose”, played by Grace Chang, sang the sonorous Ja Jambo in the bar, and then it became popular in the whole Chinese regions, including the Nanyang region.
This time, we have Diana Liu 刘婉莹 and Adrian Lim present this song to you. The song is interpreted with a little touch of Nanyang style. We chose to shoot in front of the Kuching Chinese History Museum with the ancient Siew San Teng Tuapekong temple in the background.
Tuapekong temple was built on the existing hillside as early as 1770 and has a history of 252 years. The Chinese Museum records the memories of a generation. Perhaps it’s due to the pandemic, there were fewer people around the area. It’s such a pity that we couldn’t capture the city vibe of Kuching.
If you have any recommendations, do drop us a comment, we’ll go over and shoot.

“Lover’s Tears” by 22 Studio ft. Diana Liu
《情人的眼泪》by TwoTwo Studio ft. Diana Liu
Hey guys! This is a song cover series produced by TwoTwo Studio where we’ll invite local singers to serenade you with their vocals. We hope everyone can experience Kuching’s uniqueness and beauty through video and singing voices.
Let our guest singer Diana Liu present to you “Lover’s Tears”. This song is originally sung by a Singaporean singer Poon Sow Keng in 1955, then covered by many other singers such as Yao Su Rong, Tsai Chin, Sandy Lam Yik Lin and many more. We believe this song is familiar to many, especially mothers. So let us introduce this song to the young ones who haven’t heard of it. Enjoy!
