நடிகர் டெல்லி கணேஷ் காலமானார்

சென்னை: நடிகர் டெல்லி கணேஷ் காலமானார். அவருக்கு வயது 80. சென்னை - ராமாபுரத்தில் உள்ள வீட்டில் அவர் நேற்று இரவு உயிரிழந்தார்.

தமிழ் சினிமாவில் பல்வேறு கதாப்பாத்திரங்களில் அவர் நடித்துள்ளார். கே.பாலச்சந்தரின் ‘பட்டின பிரவேசம்’ படத்தின் மூலம் சினிமாவில் அறிமுகமானார். இந்திய விமானப்படையில் பணியாற்றியவர். நடிப்பின் மீது ஏற்பட்ட ஆர்வம் காரணமாக பணியை துறந்தார். நாடகங்களிலும் நடித்துள்ளார்.

குணச்சித்திர வேடம், நகைச்சுவை, வில்லனாகவும் நடித்துள்ளார். டிவி சீரியல் மற்றும் குறும்படங்களிலும் நடித்துள்ளார். வயது முதிர்வு காரணமாக உடல் நலம் பாதிக்கப்பட்டு அவர் உயிரிழந்தார். அவரின் இல்லத்தில் வைக்கப்பட்டுள்ள அவரது உடலுக்கு உறவினர்கள் மற்றும் திரை உலகினர், ரசிகர்கள் அஞ்சலி செலுத்தி வருகின்றனர்.

டெல்லி கணேஷின் திரை பயணம்: திருநெல்வேலிக்கு அருகில் உள்ள வல்லநாடுதான் அவரது சொந்த ஊர். படித்துவிட்டு, ஏர்ஃபோர்ஸில் வேலை. தலைநகர் டெல்லியில் வேலை பார்த்தபோது அங்கே நாடகம் போட்டதுதான் அவருக்கு நடிப்பில் பிள்ளையார் சுழி. பின்னர் சென்னைக்கு வந்து காத்தாடி ராமமூர்த்தியுடன் நட்பு ஏற்பட, அவரின் நாடகக் குழுவில் இணைந்தார்.

டெல்லி கணேஷின் சினிமா பிரவேசம் ‘பட்டினப்பிரவேசம்’ மூலமாகத்தான் அமைந்தது. இதையடுத்து, கொஞ்சம் கொஞ்சமாக நல்ல கேரக்டர்கள் வர ஆரம்பித்தன. எந்தப் படத்தில் நடித்தாலும், எந்தக் கேரக்டர் நடித்தாலும் அதில் எவரையும் இமிடேட் செய்யாமல் நடிப்பது அவரின் பலம்.

‘டெளரி கல்யாணம்’, ‘சம்சாரம் அது மின்சாரம்’ என ஒருபக்கம் விசு தொடர்ந்து பயன்படுத்தினார். ‘புன்னகை மன்னன்’, ‘சிந்து பைரவி’, ‘உன்னால் முடியும் தம்பி’ என்று பாலசந்தர் பல படங்களில் கொடுத்ததெல்லாம் அற்புத கேரக்டர்கள். அதிலும் ’சிந்து பைரவி’யின் மிருதங்க குருமூர்த்தி கேரக்டர் மறக்கவே முடியாது.’புன்னகை மன்னன்’ சமையல்கார கேரக்டர்... கமலின் அப்பா கேரக்டர்... அற்புதமாகச் செய்திருப்பார்.

இயக்குநர் துரையின் ‘பசி’ படத்தில், குப்பத்தில் வாழ்கிற, சைக்கிள் ரிக்‌ஷா ஓட்டுகிற கதாபாத்திரத்தில், அட்டகாசம் பண்ணியிருப்பார். தொடர்ந்து சின்னதும் பெரிதுமாக நிறைய படங்களில் நடித்தார். அப்பா பாத்திரங்களில் நடித்தார். ‘பொல்லாதவன்’ படத்திலும் ‘மூன்று முகம்’ படத்திலும் பல படங்களிலும் போலீஸ் வேடத்தில் நடித்தார்.

கமலின் படங்களில் டெல்லி கணேஷுக்கு ஏதேனும் ஒரு வேடம் நிச்சயம் இருக்கும். ‘அபூர்வ சகோதரர்கள்’ படத்தில் நாகேஷை மெயின் வில்லனாக்கினார். டெல்லி கணேஷையும் வில்லனாக்கினார். ‘அவ்வை சண்முகி’யிலும் முக்கிய பாத்திரத்தில் நடித்திருப்பார்.

‘நாயகன்’ படத்தையும் வேலுநாயக்கரையும் யாரால்தான் மறக்கமுடியும்? தாராவிப் பகுதியின் ஐயராக வேலுநாயக்கருடனேயே பயணித்து அட்டகாசம் பண்ணியிருப்பார் நடிப்பில்! ஆஸ்பத்திரியில் அடிபட்டவர்களை பார்க்க கமல் வரும் போது, காயங்களுடன் வந்து, ‘ஒருவார்த்தை சொல்லலியே... எனக்கு எப்படித்தான் தைரியம் வந்துச்சோ தெரியல’ எனும் போதும் சரி... ‘சேரிக்கெல்லாம் ஆம்புலன்ஸ் வராதாம்’ என்று சொன்னதும் ‘வாங்கறோம் அஞ்சு வாங்கறோம்’ என்று கமல் சொல்ல... ‘அஞ்சு ஆம்புலன்ஸ்னா... ‘ என்று இழுப்பதும்... சிறிது மெளனத்துக்குப் பிறகு கமல் டெல்லி கணேஷை உட்கார ஜாடை காட்டுவதும், அவர் பவ்யம் காட்டுவதும்... அந்தக் கேரக்டரை டெல்லி கணேஷைத் தவிர வேறு எவரும் செய்யமுடியாது என்பதை நிரூபித்திருப்பார்.

சுரேஷ் கிருஷ்ணாவின் ‘ஆஹா’ திரைப்படம்... பெயருக்கேற்ற மாதிரியான ‘ஆஹா’ படம். இதிலும் சமையல் கலைஞர் கேரக்டர். படத்தில் இரண்டு பேர் ஸ்கோர் செய்திருப்பார்கள். ஒன்று... விஜயகுமார். அடுத்தது... டெல்லி கணேஷ். அவர் வரும் காட்சிகளெல்லாம் அவருக்கே அவருக்கானது.

கருப்பு வெள்ளை காலத்தில் தொடங்கிய டெல்லி கணேஷின் பயணம்... ‘நேர்கொண்ட பார்வை’யென கமல்,ரஜினி, விஜயகாந்த், பிரபு, சத்யராஜ், கார்த்திக், முரளி, மோகன், அஜித், விஜய் காலம் வரை தொடர்ந்தது. மகத்தான நடிகரான டெல்லி கணேஷ் மறைந்திருந்தாலும் அவர் நடித்த பாத்திரங்கள் ஒவ்வொன்றும் மறக்க முடியாத நினைவுகளாக பார்வையாளர்களின் நினைவுகளில் இருக்கும்.
