\ We visited Lebkuchenbäckerei-Museum Goldapfel, a bakery shop-cum-museum with a charming façade in the heart of Einsiedeln.

As we stepped inside, the aroma of freshly baked rustic cookies greeted us, blending perfectly with the sight of traditional family decorative wall pieces, vintage furniture, and antique machines. Together, these elements told the story of the brand’s rich history.

It felt as though we had been transported back to the Swiss old days, filled with the cozy charm of small-town life.

\ An afternoon visit to Pfarramt Lainz-Speising, a beautiful brutalist Council Remembrance Church in Vienna designed by Josef Lackner, an Austrian architect, in the 1960s. Featuring earth tones and prominently showcasing the natural colors of concrete and cement, the building truly stands out 🇦🇹

Designed by .chipperfield the building is an expansion of the existing Kunsthaus museums, located between the Grossmünster church and the university. The Chipperfield extension houses a collection of classic modernist works, temporary exhibitions, and art from the 1960s.
