🚨Keretapi Tanah Melayu Berhad (KTMB) will run a 24-hour train service from February 9 to 12 to support Thaipusam worshippers and visitors. The service will cover all KTM Komuter stations in the Klang Valley, with free rides available on February 10 and 11. This initiative will span four days and three nights.

Transport Minister Anthony Loke stated that the service aims to assist Hindu devotees and the public during Thaipusam celebrations. KTMB currently operates 96 daily trips, but to handle the increased demand, 44 extra trips will be added daily, bringing the total to 140, especially on Saturday when the number of worshippers is expected to peak.

🚨The body of Yong Jia Yein, a 34-year-old woman who was reported missing on January 31st, has been found in Pantai Remis, Jeram. She was last seen on January 29th leaving her residence at Pelangi Utama Condominium in a blue Proton Iswara with license plate BDV 1304. Her family has been notified of her death. Kuala Selangor police chief Supt Azaharudin Tajudin stated that more information will be released in a press statement soon.

The Beatles’ song “Now and Then,” which was finished and released last year by the band’s living members Paul McCartney and Ringo Starr, won a best rock performance Grammy on Sunday, marking the first time the Fab Four were recognized by the Recording Academy since 1997.

The win comes 55 years after The Beatles broke up in 1970.

Referred to by McCartney as “the last Beatles song,” “Now and Then” was written by the late John Lennon, who died in 1980, and features original vocals that Lennon recorded in 1970 that were preserved using artificial intelligence.

Sean Ono Lennon, the son of Lennon and Yoko Ono, accepted the award at the Grammys Premiere Ceremony, a pre-show event where awards were handed out prior to the main telecast.

🚨Home Minister Datuk Seri Saifuddin Nasution Ismail stated today that initial investigations into the maritime incident involving Indonesian nationals on January 24 indicate a possible link to illegal activities. He explained that the inquiry is being carried out under the Anti-Trafficking in Persons and Anti-Smuggling of Migrants Act 2007 (Atipsom).

“As we continue questioning the individuals who have been arrested or injured and are currently in our custody, we are uncovering patterns similar to previous cases. This could potentially lead to investigations into drug or arms smuggling. The investigation into migrant smuggling, however, is already underway.”
