We believe in listening to address the needs of students. Throwback to last week when we met with a friendly secondary teacher to discuss about political apathy among youths and ways to tackle the issue.

Error404 participated in Ripple Effects Mapping (REM) on the 30th of May. This event was hosted by the International Republican Institute (IRI), an international organisation dedicated to advancing democracy globally.

The program aims to visually map intended and unintended outcomes through facilitated group discussions.

We discovered that Demokrasi Lab participants obtained three main aspects of personal growth through participating in the competition:

1. Have a better understanding of issues in Malaysia

Through researching the selected themes, participants learned more about local issues that require attention.

2. Coding knowledge

Participants were inevitably exposed to coding knowledge and this was a breakthrough for a lot of participants without prior coding background.

3. Long-term endeavour

Despite the fact that the competition is officially over, Demokrasi Lab participants are still keen on putting in effort to further develop their program for a better Malaysia.

Sometimes an effort brings more than one impact, there might be unexpected breakthrough!

Error404 consists of a group of youths that intend to promote democracy in Malaysia through launching interactive game. We believe through presenting politics through integration of information, we are able to provide voters' education to more youths.

Currently, we are recruiting passionate people just like you! Available positions include graphic designer, game developer, researcher, and social media officer.
