Masashi Hirao is "Bonsai Bad Boy". We call him Masa.

We always believed that Bonsai was an ancient, expensive art, and every piece is the labour of love of the revered masters created with incredible patience behind closed doors.

But Masa is different. He creates his bonsai piece within 1-hour with pop music on stage to entertain his fans like a rock star. We were fascinated by his showmanship and the stories behind his years of struggle.

"Bonsai Bad Boy" is a five episodes series by Image Farm. A story about a maverick convinced that only change can save the art from extinction.
