I don’t know how I got from there to here, but it’s been 15 years since my last drink. I was spiritually, physically and financially bankrupt. I never knew joy or happiness and honestly, I thought I didn’t qualify.
This life I’ve been blessed with is not of my making, but it is mine to enjoy and find gratitude in. I’m grateful to my higher power, a program of recovery and those who showed me the way.
