Starting today, you can stream the entire album "Combustión Alfanumérica" on BandCamp and order the limited edition Digipack. This playful packaging features collaged images of Steven Stapleton (Nurse With Wound) and is designed by Ford Proco’s longtime collaborator, artist Acamonchi Art.
"Combustión Alfanumérica" promises to be an art-pop gem, retaining Ford Proco's signature kinetic sound with its distinctive filters and hooks. The album boasts notable collaborations, including Ulalume (of casino shanghai) lending her vocals on "El Instante Previo," and Javier Cortez ELEPHANT WOMAN and Angela Bloem contributing vocal layers on "Piel de Angel." The tracks seamlessly weave through dream pop, mutant electro, meta ambient, and synth body music, showcasing the band's genre-defying approach. Despite the often-misused label of electronic music, Ford Proco has steadfastly developed their unique style, known since their inception as "Autoconst."
