Superbowl Block Party at the border!! The National Guard is inspecting EVERY wehicle before you cross into the U.S. It is taking HOURS so if you can extend your stay, please do!! They will be doing this through the end of the month so be prepared to wait ALL the time! We don't like it either, but it's better than shutting our border down like last year!!! PLEASE SHARE!!

RIGHT...No more red light/green light (right) - just pull through and they'll wave you on, inspect you there or have you pull to the side.

LEFT...The National Guard is inspecting EVERY VEHICLE going back to the U.S. so please be prepared to wait!! Everyone exits the vehicle and they are doing a thorough inspection!!! This will most likely only last through February.

TOLL ROAD SURVEY being taken through Sunday!! Please stop and answer a few questions for the State of Sonora. There is a stop just south of Sonoyta, after you round the curve. Everyone speaks perfect English - takes like 3 min. PLEASE PARTICIPATE if you travel Hwy. 8 tomorrow or Sunday!

No line coming into MX, FYI- there is no more green/red light. Only advance/enter.

Going out back to the U.S. there is a line due to the Mexican National Guard stopping and checking everyone going into the U.S.
