[æ] 001 - Sassafras - Never ending story is the first installment of our artist exclusive series on DE_ST_REC

Sassafras is a live electronic music collective from Barcelona born in a murky studio over 10 years ago, making music from and for the soul..
With lead singer, Nikol Kollars accompanied by Mirus and Dominic Plaza the 3 long-time friends have been patiently waiting for the right moment to release this first ep that has been collecting dust on a hard drive and will now finally see the day of light.
Their first single, The Underworld, was released on our sister label indigo raw in 2012 followed up by two singles this year on the first installments of DE_ST_REC.
These tunes are experimental improvisations, non-genre with a lo-fi, downbeat, jazzy & soulful electronica twisted vibe.
We invite you to discover this prelude to the upcoming album from the trio which will include more recent material and span an ever wider range of genres, but always with that touch from the soul brought by Nikols distinctive lyrics and Mirus & Dominic's random improvisations with beats, melodies, and soundscapes.
