C-SECTION: 7 Things Nobody Tells You 😮🤱
Mama, C-section is not just “they cut and bring out baby.” The recovery journey has its own hidden truths 👇
1️⃣ You will still bleed after CS
Even without vag!nal delivery, your womb still needs to clear out blood and tissues (lochia).
2️⃣ The first time you stand up is tough
That first walk after surgery feels like your body is tearing 😩—but moving early helps healing.
3️⃣ Gas pain can be worse than the wound
Trapped gas after surgery can cause severe shoulder and stomach pain. Walking helps release it.
4️⃣ Coughing or laughing is painful
Holding a pillow against your belly can reduce the pain when you need to cough, sneeze, or laugh.
5️⃣ Your scar may feel numb or itchy
Healing nerves can cause strange sensations around the incision—totally normal.
6️⃣ You may feel guilty for not pushing
But mama, there’s no “less than” in safe delivery. Baby alive + mama alive = victory! ❤️
7️⃣ Full healing takes longer than people say
Yes, you’ll move around in weeks, but internal healing can take months. Be patient with your body.
