Promueve FONMAR concientización ambiental entre caravana vehicular estadounidense
Como parte de sus esfuerzos por fortalecer la conciencia ambiental en la Entidad, personal de FONMAR sostuvo un diálogo con integrantes de una caravana vehicular procedente de Estados Unidos, quienes acamparon en la playa de El Comitán, La Paz, en su recorrido por la península.
El Coordinador de FONMAR en el municipio, José Lizandro Olachea Burgoin, acompañado por el Subcoordinador de Torneos de FONMAR, Daniel Emilio Terrazas Quiroga y la Encargada de Marketing, Cinthia Margarita Ramírez Saavedra, compartió con los viajeros que, al ser una zona de manglares y fauna endémica, se requieren ciertos cuidados especiales; y compartió con los visitantes las medidas para evitar un fuerte impacto en la zona y garantizar su conservación.
Se llevó a cabo la colocación de cinco botes de basura por parte de FONMAR y se realizó el compromiso con los integrantes de la caravana de realizar una jornada de limpieza antes de retirarse del lugar, donde personal de FONMAR estará colaborando para garantizar que se manejen adecuadamente los desechos.
FONMAR mantiene su compromiso de fomentar la educación ambiental entre residentes y visitantes, promoviendo prácticas responsables que garanticen la conservación de los recursos naturales en el Estado.

FONMAR promotes environmental awareness among North American vehicle caravans.
As part of FONMAR´s efforts to keep and enhance environmental awareness in the state, the staff of FONMAR held a friendly conversation with members of the vehicle caravan from North America, who were camping at El Comitan beach in La Paz, B.C.S., on their journey through Baja Sur.
The coordinator of FONMAR in the municipality of La Paz, José Lizandro Olachea Burgoin, accompanied by the sub-coordinator of sport fishing tournaments, Daniel Emilio Terrazas Quiroga, the Marketing Manager, Cinthia Margarita Ramírez Saavedra advised the travelers that the area where they are currently camping is a mangrove swamp with endemic wildlife that require certain type care. They shared with the visitors the actions that need to be done to avoid a strong impact to the area and to guarantee its conservation.
The members of the caravan agreed to have a beach cleaning day before leaving the area. FONMAR donated five garbage containers and will collaborate to guarantee that the disposals are being handled correctly.
FONMAR maintains its commitment to promote environmental education among visitors and residents, promoting responsible practices that guarantee the conservation of the natural resources of the state.
