2) Maintain accurate records of collection and report to supervisors regularly.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

COMPENSATION

TRAGEDY AT UNIMA: STUDENT LOSES LIFE

A young student at the University of Malawi (UNIMA) has tragically passed away. According to sources close to the deceased, Yamikani, the student was facing severe financial difficulties and was often reliant on friends for basic necessities.

In light of this tragedy, friends are urging support for vulnerable students, highlighting the struggles many face in university life.

Reporting to: Divisional Manager

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Weighment of green leaf plucked by Tea Pluckers in the field using digital scales.

2. Manually entering plucking data into plucking sheets as tea weighment progresses and balancing up the sheets by the end of day.

3. Producing a green leaf dispatch note and send it to the factory every time, green leaf is sent to the factory.

4. Daily checking of green leaf field weights against factory weights from the same day's harvest and establish the reasons for poor field/factory differences.

5. Assist in data entry into labor contract forms during recruitment process.

6. Performing any duty as assigned by the Supervisor.

Requirements:

1. Highly motivated individuals who are ready to work under different weather conditions in the field.

2. Honest and trustworthy individuals.

3. Be ready to assist in any office work as assigned by his/her supervisor.

4. Be able to communicate fluently in English.

5. A minimum qualification of Malawi School Certificate of Education with credits in Mathematics and English and Chichewa.

6. Those with computer knowledge in Microsoft Word and Excel and work experience will have an added advantage.
