VACANCY:
VIDEO EDITOR – Full Time

Pulp Creative is a commercial photo and video production agency located in Quatre-Bornes.

Role Description:
This full-time on-site role as a Video Editor at Pulp Creative will require you to perform the task of editing videos on various platforms. As a video editor, you will be responsible for shooting, and assembling video footage, syncing audio and creating new unique content that tells the desired story.
Candidate will also be required to operate as a photographer and to edit photos.
Intensive training will be given by the director (holder of a Visual Communication degree with 15 years experience in the audiovisual business), if no experience.

Qualifications:
Pulp Creative values ATTITUDE over ABILITY, that is, if you have the right attitude and are willing to learn, then this will be an advantage over technical skills.
Other requirements:
• A flair for visual storytelling and the ability to understand the elements that make up the story such as light, color and composition.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, take direction and constructive feedback.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to multitask, prioritize and manage time efficiently.
• Available some weekends and evenings for our events jobs.

These 3 factors will play a major part in this position:
• Candidate preferably to live within 20 kms of our office in Quatre-Bornes.
• Clean criminal record. A thorough background check will be performed.
• Driving license.

Salary will be commensurate to qualifications.
Position will be available from MAY 2024.
