In fact, if you offer WORK and BUSINESS to people, they will choose to WORK because most people don't know that a BUSINESS can make more MONEY than a salary.

One of the reasons the poor are poor is because the poor are not trained to recognize the entrepreneurial opportunity.

They spend a lot of time in school and what they learn in school is to work for a salary instead of working for themselves.

Profit is better than wages because wages can support you, but profits can make you a fortune.

CONGRATULATIONS to Sky Air Travel LTD for winning the Bowling Tournament organised by Turkish Airline on Saturday 18th March 2023 at Strike City Bagatelle.

Our 3 participants namely, Hasgarally Parveez (Director), Hasgarally Nawfal (son of Mr Parveez) and Imran Varsally won the game for the second time (2019 and 2023) amongst all agencies who participated and they will be travelling to Turkey again to represent Mauritius in the International Agency Tournament by winning 3 Business Class Tickets and a 5 Star Hotel Accommodation which was offered by Turkish Airline.

Every generation, mine, yours, and that of our youngest, has been inspired by our forefathers who built the Republic of Mauritius. For here, as in many other countries which have been
successful, our History was written by many helping hands, who shared a vision:

Building a better future for the island.

Today, as we are celebrating our 55th Independence Day, the citizens of Mauritius must continue to unite and promote our multiple energies, our diverse
know-how, and the many points of view that have altogether contributed to the major achievements of Mauritius.

As we do so, it is also essential for us to remain humble in the face of our past successes and future ambitions. If
Mauritius was built through the work of its people, it has also received and continues to receive the support of friendly countries.

“Independence” does not mean “autarky” and today we fully understand the importance of
remaining open to the World.

I am proud, as President of the Sodnac Humanity Association, to see the wonderful microcosm of the Island in our big family in the association. I look at you and I see talent, uniqueness, and resourceful ingenuity. I see people from a myriad of cultures, backgrounds, and countries, working in a variety of industries. We are all different, of course, but we are all looking into the same direction.

Let us strive to be exemplary !

I cannot end this message without mentioning a word regarding our Prime Minister’s hardwork. Almost 3 years ago, we entered a first national lockdown which had consequences for our entire country. We all experienced challenging times, but we went through and overcame them together. And today, we should leverage on that experience more economic and social challenges ahead. Some of us will continue to work in the shadows to guarantee the stability of our sectors. Our frontliners will provide essential services to the entire population.

I would like, from this very beginning, to assert the deep respect that I have for your courage.

A moment comes, which comes but rarely in history, when we step out from the old to the new when an age ends, and when the soul of a nation, long suppressed, finds utterance.
It is fitting that at this solemn moment we take the pledge of dedication to the service of Mauritius, and her people, and to the still larger cause of humanity.

Mauritius is still there, holding on tight, and it is thanks to each of us that it can continue to do so.

Long live Mauritius, long life to the Men and Women of Mauritius!

0-G Launch and SpaceLand Announce Signed Partnership for International Zero-Gravity Flight Services in Switzerland, Italy, and Mauritius

Announcement made during the 2022 International Astronautical Congress (IAC) in Paris regarding Agreement to Conduct Yearly Consumer Zero-Gravity, Moon-Gravity and Mars-Gravity Parabolic Flights from Switzerland, Italy, and Mauritius Regions.

0-G Launch, a Washington DC-based provider of the innovative Space Jet™ horizontal rocket air-launch and high-precision microgravity services aircraft, and SpaceLand™, the 1st non-governmental weightless R&D agency offering space-related educational and training programs, as well as engineering & operational support through its "Centers of Excellence for Microgravity," today announced their signed agreement to initiate exclusive zero-gravity parabolic flights from Switzerland, Italy, and Mauritius serving STEM user communities and tourists in respective continents, at unprecedented quality vs. cost ratios.

The agreement was announced on 20 September during his speech at the Business Innovation Symposium of the International Astronautical Congress in Paris (F) by Dr. Carlo Viberti, ESA Zero-G Flight Veteran proposed by MIR Corp back in 2000 as history-first private cosmonaut nominee, now President of SpaceLand. As first part of this exclusive agreement, 0-G Launch plans to fly its specially-modified Boeing 757 Space Jet™ to SpaceLand training centers to provide 0-G parabolic flight experiences to consumers and researchers on a yearly recurring basis. SpaceLand will organize all ground-based programs, training and facilities, and 0-G Launch will provide all aircraft-based flight operations.

"We are excited about our partnership with SpaceLand, an international provider of high-quality microgravity training facilities and weightless research program development services for consumers as well as for scientists and high-tech innovators, by offering amazing zero-gravity, Martian-gravity and Lunar-gravity parabolic flight experiences with our Space Jet™ fleet. We envision our first parabolic flights to start in late 2023 in the USA, and thereafter expand to various global locations with the help of our great partners," said Robert Feierbach, Chief Executive Officer and Founder of 0-G Launch.

Based on our world records for 0-G STEM R&D with people from 11 to 93 years of age, and also for 100% disabled persons, we follow on our earlier pathfinder missions from the NASA KSC Space-Shuttle Landing Facility with breakthrough techno-testing and human-longevity-extension R&D conducted for a Nobel-Prize-winner. Muslim Ladies Council a organisé une réception en honneur de Abdullah Afzal Khan, Secrétaire Général de Al-Khidmat Foundation du Pakistan, samedi dernier, en présence d’un parterre d’invités á Lea Café.

L’occasion a permis á l’invité du Pakistan de mettre en exergue, par une présentation sur l’écran, les objectifs de Al-Khidmat Foundation, tout en les mettant en parallèle avec les Sunnah du Saint Prophète (SAW). Il a aussi fait ressortir tous les secteurs sur lequels sa Fédération travaille pour le bien-être de la société au niveau national et international. Il a aussi expliqué á l’audience les récompenses du Social et les raisons pour lesquelles on doit initier le volontariat.

Al Khidmat Foundation a 350 Centres, y compris á Dubai et d’autres pays. Il était á Maurice sur l’invitation de M Kids pour un bref séjour dans l’île.

Lors de son intervention, la présidente du Muslim Ladies Council, Mariam Goodur a surtout remercié Mons. Khan qui procèdera aux procédures de signer un ‘Memorandum of Understanding’ entre le Muslim Ladies Council et la branche féminine du Al-Khidmat Foundation du Pakistan, pour des échanges culturels et pour d’autres services. Elle a aussi remercié, Arshad Joomun, président du M Kids pour cette rencontre avec Mons Khan.

En cette même occasion, trois écrivains, l’ancien Vice Président de la République, A.R. Bundhun ; Dr Swabir Goodur et Ibrahim Aladin ont présenté chacun leur livre á l’invité d’honneur. Des échanges de trophées ont eu lieu entre Muslim Ladies Council et Al Khidmat Foundation. Un trophée a aussi été remis au représentant du M Kids, Le MC du programme fut Umar Awan et le vote de remerciement prononcé par Zeebah Boodhoo, membre exécutif du MLC.
