OH MAHADEV When I composed the song, it was meant for pilgrims. I wanted them to have something peaceful and inspirational to listen to. I wanted to launch & release the song everywhere and spread the love for Lord Shiva, but then this terrible, tragic accident happened. What is more shocking for us, we came across them at around 16:30, while returning from a wedding at Maritim, Balaclava. We saw the Kanwar, and we saw the people, it was so beautiful, they were so motivated to reach their goal, chanting the name of Mahadev. I was happy to see the youth of today keeping the faith alive. But then when I reached home at around 18:00, some of the same group were no more., others severely injured, the beautiful Kanwar on fire. I came across all the videos people sharing on WhatsApp. IT WAS TRAUMATISING. I just pray for the families who lost their loved ones to stay strong.
