We are deeply saddened by the loss of Joe Grech - Malta's first ever representative in Eurovision 🖤. He represented Malta in the Eurovision Song Contest 1971, with the song 'Marija l-Maltija'.

Dear Joe, thank you for your contribution to the Maltese music industry. You won't be forgotten by the Eurovision Community and beyond!

Rest in Peace Joe ♥️🕊️🙏

PBS has just published "The Malta Eurovision Song Contest" 2025 Regulations on eurovision.pbs.mt. There are the usual regulations such as song length, artists' nationality etc. However, there is a small change in the selection format.

➡️ The submission window is open from the 18th November till the 29th November 2024 and 2️⃣4️⃣ Semi-finalists will be announced on the 12th December 2024.

➡️ These semi-finalists will be split in 2 semifinals to be held on Tuesday 4th & Thursday 6th February 2025 and 8 songs from each semifinal will pass to the final on 8th February 2025, thus there'll be 1️⃣6️⃣ finalists.

➡️ Both the semifinals and finals will be a live televised show, held in front of an audience!

The 69th edition of the Eurovision Song Contest will be held in Basel, Switzerland on the 13th, 15th & 17th of May 2025! 🇨🇭🎉❤️

The Grand Final of the Eurovision Song Contest 2025 will take place in St. Jakobshalle, Basel, on Saturday 17 May with Semi-Finals on Tuesday 13 and Thursday 15 May, after it was selected by Host Broadcaster SRG SSR and the European Broadcasting Union (EBU) to host the 69th edition of the Contest.

The night we've all been waiting for is here! 🌙

It's the 𝗢𝗚𝗔𝗘 𝗙𝗮𝗻 𝗩𝗶𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗦𝗼𝗻𝗴 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗲𝘀𝘁 - 𝗘𝘂𝗿𝗼𝘃𝗶𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗪𝗲𝗲𝗸𝗲𝗻𝗱! 🎤

Yesterday, I got to meet some of the participants at the opening party, and honestly, everyone is incredibly sweet and welcoming. 😁

My dress, tailor made by Haus of Gaetano is pressed for this morning's rehearsal, and I am so excited to perform Conchita's 𝓡𝓲𝓼𝓮 𝓛𝓲𝓴𝓮 𝓪 𝓟𝓱𝓸𝓮𝓷𝓲𝔁. I wouldn't be here without the support of OGAE Malta members, my vocal coach, manager, family, and friends. 🙏🏻

Tonight, I have a goal; and that is to give it my best shot for Malta, and make you all proud. You've supported me every step of the way, and now it's my turn to shine for you. 💖

This weekend, our representative Martina Fenech will compete in the Eurovision Weekend 2024 in Hamburg, Germany, with the song "Rise like a Phoenix"! 🇲🇹🇩🇪

In addition to representing Malta in the contest, Martina received a monetary prize and a free one-year membership with OGAE Malta.

Before her departure, OGAE Malta President Claudio Xerri met with Martina to finalize preparations for the big day tomorrow! ♥️

We wish Martina the best of luck and are confident she'll make us proud! ♥️🇲🇹💪
