Linux ဆိုတာ

၁၉၉၀ ခုနှစ်ကာလ Helsinki တက္ကသိုလ်က Computer Science ကျောင်းသားတွေဟာ Unix နဲ့ မတူတဲ့ Minix Program တစ်ခုအတွက် Project လုပ်ကြပါတယ်။

အဲဒီကျောင်းသားတွေထဲမှာ Linus Torvalds ဆိုတဲ့ ကျောင်းသားတစ်ဦးလည်း ပါဝင်ခဲ့ပါတယ်။ အဲဒီ Minix Program project အပြီးမှာတော့ ထူးချွန်ကျောင်းသာ Linus Torvalds ကတော့ PC တွေမှာ သုံးဖို့ Unix ကို Linux ဆိုဲတဲ့ နာမည်နဲ့ Version 0.11 ကို ၁၉၉၁ ခုနှစ်မှာ အင်တာနက်ကနေ ကဗ္ဘာတစ်ဝှမ်းလုံးမှာရှိတဲ့ Programer တွေနဲ့ ထိတွေ့မိတ်ဆက်ခဲ့တာပဲဖြစ်ပါတယ်။

သူ့နာမည် Linus နဲ့ Unix ကို ပေါင်းလိုက်ပီး Linux လို့ နာမည်ပေးဖြစ်တာလေးက အမှတ်မထင် ထွက်လာတဲ့ အိုင်ဒီယာလို့ ကိုယ်ကတော့ မြင်မိပါတယ်။သူ့ဘာသာ နာမည်ပေးရတာ ခေါင်းခြောက်လို့ ပေးချင်ရာ လျှောက်ပေးလိုက်တဲ့ နာမည်တစ်ခုက မထင်မှတ်ပဲ ကဗ္ဘာကျော် Operating System တစ်ခုဖြစ်သွားခဲ့မယ်ဆိုတာတော့ သူလည်း တွေးမိထားမယ်လို့ မထင်ပါဘူး။

ဒါကတော့ Linux ဆိုတာ ဘယ်ကနေ စတာလည်းဆိုတဲ့ ကနဦး အကြောင်းအရာလေးကို ဖော်ပြပေးရတာပဲဖြစ်ပါတယ်။

Linux system နဲ့ ပတ်သက်ပြီး Learning လုပ်မယ့်သူတွေကတော့ Pyinsama Myanmar ကနေ ဖြန့်ချီပေးမယ့် Linux Learning Hub အစီစဉ်ကို စောင့်မျှော် အားပေးကြပါလို့ ဖိတ်ခေါ်ပါရစေ။
