December 17 , Arakan Times
In a video recording, the Rohingya families members from Buthidaung Township, Arakan State, Myanmar, have recounted unspeakable atrocities committed by the Rakhine terrorist group, the Arakan Army (AA). Women and young girls were raped in front of their husbands, sons, and brothers after being forcibly taken to an outpost of the Rakhine terrorist group, the Arakan Army (AA) .
These families, displaced six months ago when their villages and homes were burned down by the Rakhine terrorist group, the Arakan Army (AA), fled to Bangladesh in search of safety.
The families endured unimaginable hardships, struggling to feed their children as they lost everything. Desperation led them to cross the Naf River into Bangladesh, but upon reaching Teknaf' s shores, they were detained by the Bangladesh Border Guard (BGP) and pushed back to Maungdaw Township.
Once returned, these families faced further violence. The Rakhine terrorist group, the Arakan Army (AA) abducted them, leading to further abuse, including the brutal sexual assault of women and girls. The video highlights their ongoing suffering, as they remain without aid, food, or protection, struggling to survive amidst repeated violence.
This dire situation calls for immediate international attention and humanitarian intervention to address the plight of these displaced Rohingya families and hold perpetrators accountable for their crimes.

164 Rohingyas are stranded at sea near Indonesia.
October 18, Arakan Times
It has been reported that a boat carrying 164 Rohingyas is floating in the Sea near Indonesia. The boat left for Malaysia on October 1st but encountered a mechanical failure, leaving it adrift near Indonesia.
"We are 164 passengers on this boat, all of us Rohingyas. Some of us came from the Bangladesh refugee camps, while others are from Maungdaw and Buthidaung. We set off for Malaysia, but we have been stranded at sea near Indonesia for about 10 days," said one of the passengers.
"We left Bangladesh for Malaysia on October 1st. The boatman navigated the boat for seven days, and we reached the sea near Indonesia. Then the engine malfunctioned, and since then, we have been floating aimlessly for 10 days," another victim reported.
One passenger said a woman around 50 years old had died from starvation, and many others are on the brink of starvation, desperately crying for food and water.
"The woman was traveling with three children, but sadly, she passed away on October 16 due to starvation, as we had exhausted all our food supplies. Many more are also at risk of dying from hunger," the victim added.
Another victim explained, "We left the camp for Malaysia on October 1st, and the boat was running continuously for seven days. It reached the sea near Indonesia on October 7, but the engine broke down, and we've been stranded since. All the rations we brought for the journey are gone. One woman has already died, and many more are close to the same fate."

Arakan Army AA's members are forcibly taking positions in Rohingya residential villages in northern Maungdaw
October 11, Arakan Times
The members of the Rakhine extremist group known as the Arakan Army AA are forcibly taking positions in Rohingya residential villages and areas in northern Maungdaw Township, Arakan State, Myanmar.
It has been reported that members of the Arakan Army AA are occupying positions in Lapo Kaung Camp, where thousands of Rohingya have sought shelter due to the ongoing conflict between the Arakan Army AA and the Military Council in Maungdaw Township.
"Members of the Arakan Army AA enter Lapo Kaung Camp in the evening and stay with the Rohingya refugees. They also prohibit the refugees from leaving the camp both day and night, essentially imprisoning them within the camp," a source reported.
The Arakan Army AA is positioning itself in Rohingya residential villages and areas because, in the event of airstrikes by the Military Council, Rohingya civilians are more likely to be targeted.
Additionally, the Arakan Army AA can shift blame onto the Rohingya, accusing them of informing the military about their presence, which led to the airstrikes.
The Arakan Army AA has ordered all Rohingya refugees living in Lapo Kaung Camp not to leave the camp or use mobile phones. If anyone is found using a mobile phone or caught outside the camp, they will be brutally tortured.
