Dj / Producer Giannis Mariopoulos aka John Angel was born and raised in Thessaloniki. His party-hard attitude has earned him the nickname “party animal”.

He first became interested in music at an early age and has been sharing his passion with his friends ever since. At the same time he was partying intensely on the dance floor, his secret dream was for him to actually be the one up in the Dj booth, entertaining the crowd below. This is the main reason he decided to attend the Α2 Dj Music Workshop and Music Production Workshop. He is a Djing enthus

iast and music technology makes him inquisitive. He is extremely lucky to be mentored by Tony G and Dj Antonio. He is member of DRK Records, the label which gave him the opportunity to launch his music. Four different releases hit the 1st place of Top 100 Beatport Releases of 4 different genres, House, Tech House, Afro House and Nu Disco.
