It is run by filmmakers Rūdolfs Anže and Matīss Kaža. A collaboration of young talents and developing artists, the goal of our company is to produce quality works in documentary and narrative cinema through a blend of traditional and experimental approaches.

Our Story

Deep Sea Studios is an arts collective and film production company based in Riga, Latvia. Founded by young artists and producers, we operate as platform where new talents work alongside experienced professionals to create new and enriching artistic experiences.

Though we are a young company, our film productions have already won several awards and have been featured in world-class industry events such as the Goteborg Film Festival and Krakow Film Festival.
