Difficult not to have this album as part of my collection.

Unknown Pleasures is the debut studio album by the English band Joy Division. It was released on 15 June 1979 through Factory Records.
The (now iconic) cover artwork was designed by artist Peter Saville, using a data plot of signals from a radio pulsar.
It is the only Joy Division album released during lead singer Ian Curtis's lifetime.

Something fairly upbeat to dance your way into spring 😉

Curiosity Killed the Cat were a British pop band formed in London in 1984, comprising singer Ben Volpeliere-Pierrot, guitarist Julian Godfrey Brookhouse, bassist Nick Thorpe and drummer Migi Drummond. The band achieved success in the UK in the late 1980s, with their debut album Keep Your Distance reaching No. 1 in 1987 and producing three top 20 hit singles in "Down to Earth", "Misfit" and "Ordinary Day".

Off to The Big Smoke next week, so here's a album from a couple who have been based in the capital for many decades.

Fuse is the eleventh studio album by duo Everything But The Girl (Tracey Thorn & Ben Watt), released on 21 April 2023 through Buzzin' Fly and Virgin Records. It is their first studio album in almost 24 years following Temperamental (1999).
The album was preceded by the single "Nothing Left to Lose" in January 2023, followed by "Caution to the Wind", "Run a Red Light", and "No One Knows We're Dancing", in February, March, and April respectively.

One of my all time favourite records 👍

Tin Drum is the fifth and final studio album by Japan, released in November 1981. It peaked at No. 12 on the UK charts, and featured the top 5 single "Ghosts". It has received acclaim as the band's best and most original work.

A "double helping" of Gravenhurst, which was the musical pseudonym of the English singer-songwriter, record producer, multi-instrumentalist and journalist Nicholas John Talbot (14 May 1977 – 2 December 2014). He sadly died aged 37
A constant in the Gravenhurst sound is Talbot's fragile voice and vocal harmonies, intricate guitar work and unsettling and mysterious lyrical themes.

Easy Pieces is the second studio album by Lloyd Cole and the Commotions. It was released in the UK on 22 November 1985 and included the hit singles "Brand New Friend", "Lost Weekend" and "Cut Me Down".
The title of the album derives from the American drama film Five Easy Pieces (1970), which Cole described as "one of my very favourite films", saying, "I want to write at least five songs out of that film".
