Tritone Studios - Where taste comes before technology.
Tritone Studios has been operating the greater Luxembourg Region since the early two thousands What started primarily as a Live Recording adventure for Radio 100komma7, where nobody really understood how to record Jazz, has become a real full blown top notch recording facility. We had a brief stint in Trier Germany between 2007 and 2011 where we had built a really pristine recording environment inside The Chat Noir Live Club premises. The story ended very sadly, with the club going bust, and the owner selling the building. Our friend and partner in crime Piano Player Sebastian Matz has also passed away in June 2013 due to cancer. So Trier was no longer a place to be...
Today we are back home in Berdorf in one of the quietest and most beautiful regions of Luxembourg. Check out www.audio.lu for details.
While technology matters, we have a lot of expensive gear and microphones with or without tubes, it is the music and the performance that matters most. Nobody will ever ask you how you achieved a great sound if the song is weak, and vice versa. And so, we are musicians first, focusing on making you feel at home and letting your inspiration flow freely. You will never be bothered with technical issues.
We are still doing a lot of “on location recording” and we are most likely the best equipped facility for these kinds of jobs. Dante and Madi spoken here, redundant recording on a separate system is a must.
