New piece 🤩 George Gershwin (1898–1937) was an American-Jewish composer and pianist, renowned for his ability to blend classical music with jazz and popular American styles. Gershwin's work left a lasting impact on American music, both in concert halls and on Broadway.

Gershwin composed this piece in 1930, with lyrics by his brother Ira Gershwin. The melody consists of a five-note pentatonic scale, first rising and then falling. Known for its infectious rhythm and catchy melody, it has been widely adapted by jazz musicians and serves as the basis for countless improvisations.
