Yeah, you may be able to weave a few words together and maybe even have the capacity to understand your average Joe's punchlines or metaphors. For real. Thats all good.
Just dont think this gives you the right to assume you know anything about being a rapper in any industry if youve never beem directly affected or have walked in those shoes.
Social media has and will blur the line that most of us, the professionals, use as a base for what we refer to as "the standard". Unfortunately, the typical consumer posing as a connoisseur whos blind to this, will shamelessly spew vague paperweight opinions posing as intellectual statements.
I may just be a producer but trust me when I say that I've taken time to perfect my art. Sit behind your screen and judge us all you want thats cool. My career is already based in an environment that most see as a graveyard for dreams and I still continue to change the status quo.
With that said, lets try not to forget that in whatever profession we originate from, we are all humans at the end of the day and are obviously aware of the challenges we face (and the mistakes) as well as how it all looks. Still, our commitments depths and some of "yalls" ignorant comments are clear signs that the consumer still needs us to educate yall more in order for a general but necassary level of comprehension of what it is we go thru. As an activist for lesothos arts and entertainment and a contributor, I've decided to embark on an educational experience to give the masses an inner look at what one of the Mountain Kingdoms musical innovators operate.
