Hon: Willie M. Dweh says almost 40 years konobo District has not produced a Representative in Grand Gedeh Gedeh County.

He further said, now is the time for Konobo to Produce a leader. However, During the CDC primary in Zwedru on June 30, 2023, there are (9) nine Parties and I was selected on the CDC ticket for comes October election of 2023.

When came here to Ziah Town and won the Konobo Primary, our elders told us to join together and this is the first time in Konobo for two Brothers to come together and push for one goal.

Thanks to Mr. Shem Jallayu, and also to our traditional elders, youth, women's wings, and the peace-loving Citizens of Konobo.

Meanwhile, Hon: Willie M. Dweh called all citizens for their support. He added for Konobo to win this coming election, we can do it without your support.

Mr. Marcus Waylee, Interim Youth President of the Konobo Administrative District, says the Interim Leadership has suffered a Financial blow to run the Election ✅.

Speaking in an exclusive interview he told the press that when he took office as an interim President of youth leadership, he met an empty office, from the past youth leadership.

In a further report, an interim President has to stay in power for (10) ten months according to our constitution governing youth leadership, and may still be in power for almost two or there years, is due to the lack of funding, I am not been able to set up a committee to run the election before the ends of (10) months period.

Meanwhile, Mr. Marcus Waylee, says that he is not waiting on any funding from the Ministry of Youth and Sport, and doing everything possible to see the youth going into the election very soon.

River Cess County Senator, Wellington Geevon Smith has threatened to rally citizens against what he called the illegal settlement of Burkinabes in Liberia through Grand Gedeh and River Cess Counties.

Speaking in the Senate plenary on Tuesday, July 4, 2023, Senator Geevon Smith recounted that over many years now, hundreds of citizens of Burkina Faso have been trooping their way in Liberia through the Counties.

FIFA have approved the new offside rule.

Netherlands, Sweden and Italy will be the first Countries to implement the rule.

Previously, if a player was ahead of his opponent by even an inch it would 've Counted offside.

However, now the whole body of that player must be in front for it to be offside.
For example, the picture below will not be an offside now.

A magisterial Court in Harper, Maryland County has ordered two student leaders jailed for misapplying L$250,000 provided by the coalition for Democratic Change (CDC) for distribution with multiple student lerladers.

Harper Magisterial Court recently found former Tubman University student leader Victor William and Sawlodi Doe guilty of misappropriation of entrusted property following their trial for the L$250K.

The Court sentenced them to six months imprisonment each, but they have appeared against the ruling.
