One Time Representative Candidate Of Pleebo Sodoken District, "Describe Current Representative Hon. Anthony F. Williams Office As A Birthday Club."

Former Representative Candidate Mr Jasper JB Hne over the weekend appeared on the Voice Of Truth 95.5 FM Super Morning Show, he expressed his dissatisfaction about the current representative.

He stressed that during the 2023 presidency and legislative elections that brought Representative Williams to power, they used their monies and other resources to get him elected, commiting further he said since his accedency he has not one day place a phone call or text message to them neither seeing his people in the district that brought him to power but using the office and his social media accounts as birthday club.

Some supporters of the representative used the radio and other intellectual forums urging him to desist from such acts.

They added if this continues the district will remain in total darkness.

Thought our team is hoping to get in touch with Hon. Anthony F. Williams to react to this allegations.

Maryland County District # 3 Representative Takes On US$ 6,000 Bridge Project

The Representative for District #3 Maryland County Hon. Austin B. Taylor has immediately responded to citizens called in his district. The called came in went the bridge that link Karluway Statutory District and Barrobo Statutory District got down after a heavy downpull of rain on June 13, 2024.

This condition of the bridge put a serious burning on residents of the area by transporting their commodities to the market, bringing patient to town amongst other.

Speaking to Mr. Desmond Dogbeh Coordinator for the home office of the Representative said, the construction of the bridge, the Lawmaker see it as a means of given his people smooth movement to town, he lamented that the delayed of the project, were cause by some preparation in the office.

commenting further he added that the total cost of the project is in the tone of US$ 6,000 and it's expected to be completed on July 9, 2024, thou we began the work on Saturday he said.

Meanwhile residents of both districts lauded the effort of the Lawmaker for his soonest response to them.

" By during this we will be able to transport our products, patient's to town and our children's will make their way to school during the raining time when it is completely done.

"This place was a difficult tasks for us during the raining days, our children's were unable to get on campus, Moto bikes and Ambulance got stopped here, this whole area were blocked just because of this bridge residents said."

The construction of the bridge put smile on the faces of citizens living in that part of the country, and hoping for more development to come into the district.

Lawmakers refused LD30k as sitting fees and boycott retreat. According to some Lawmakers that we spoke to, they said, that the money is small and that they can not accept said amount rather, they should take the amount to JFK for medical supplies.

The retreat was to start at 9am but to now there's no lawmaker has been seated.

RITCO Refuses Selling Expire Goods

For immediate release /June 20, 2024: The Management of RITCO Distillery is seriously concerned about the early Thursday morning June 20, incident at one of its branches in Pleebo, Maryland County where is reported by some media outlets that expired goods discovered by the government of Liberia at its warehouse were meant for sale.
We want to clearly state that the goods discovered by the government in our warehouse in Pleebo were packed for disposal since 2023 while awaiting the approval of the rightful authority
On this basis therefore, we have been hearing rumors that one of our former employees who was dismissed for financial malpractice has been engaged in deadly propaganda spreading fake and misleading information that goods packed in our warehouse awaiting disposal are being sold to customers for consumption which is not true.

Surprisingly this morning, the court ordered authorities to enter our warehouse in Pleebo and expose goods waiting for disposal.
However, the goods being disposed of in our warehouse were not RITCO products but from our business partners.
We want to encourage our customers to remain calm, as we are abiding by all necessary procedures to supply the best and healthier consumable goods in the markets.

The joint securities in connection with some community members have arrested the management of Ritco's Pleebo branch and sent to court for selling expired goods over 1 million dollars in Maryland County.

In support for citizens to be very healthy the joint securities have sent to court the management of Ritco's Pleebo branch for giving out expired goods to the people of Maryland, River Gee, Grand Kru and Sinoe counties for allowing citizens to take in unhealthy food stuff and drinks.

Rico's have been one of the companies that supply the southeast with food stuff and drinks.

Pleebo Sodoken District, Representative Broke Ground for An Annex At Pleebo General Markets

The Representative of District #2 Maryland County Hon. Anthony F. Williams had broken ground for annex at pleebo general market. The groundbreaking ceremony was held at the construction sit in zone #3 community pleebo City maryland County over the weekend. It brought together Local Government official, marketers of Pleebo general markets, friends of Representative Anthony F. Williams amongst other.

Speaking during the program Mr. Standford Nevfiville Districts coordinator appreciated the marketers for their overwhelming support towards them during the campaign period. He started that the construction for the annex is their own way of giving back to the community mostly the marketers.

Mr. Standford Nevfiville said materials are already on ground for the work which includes, sand, stle raw, cement amongst other. He added that the total exstimate is in the tone of Six Thousand United State Dallors, that which will complete the project in a soonest time.

Meanwhile marketers were seen rejoicing and appreciating the Pleebo Sodoken District Representative for such initiatives been taken. They said this will slow down the burning during the raining seasons that will save their market for damaging.

For his part Mr. Larry Geekor, the newly appointed major of Pleebo City re- emphasized that the team is committed to ensuring it promises to the people of Pleebo Sodoken District, while they are also ready to engage other work within the district. He encourages marketers to always remain calm as many projects are on the way.

Temporary Bridge that was allegedly promised by former lawmaker for Karluway District Hon. Isaac Roland Blalu and current senator for Maryland County Hon. J. Gblebo Brown to be reconstructed during the just ended general elections, making residents to go at logger head with government officials.

Inhabitants in Rock Town Corneclee are actually frustrated over the fake promises made by both of them.

According to residents in the town, if Hon. Isaac Roland Blalu and current senator for Maryland County don't reconstruct the temporary bridge that has the only access of entering the town especially for vechles, will not have the face to go in the town for campaign purposes.

Take Note 🗣️ The Central Bank of Liberia (CBL) announces the extension of the March 31, 2024 deadline for the currency exchange exercise by six weeks, up to May 15, 2024.

The extension means that the old money, known as Liberian Series 1 or LS1 and Liberian Series 2 or LS2 banknotes printed before 2021 still remains legal tender until May 15, 2024, and can be used to buy goods and pay for services in Liberia.
