Todd FC Signs Experienced Coach Prince J. Morris as Deputy Coach, Eyes Top Spot in Paynesville Sub-Committee LFA League

In a bold move aimed at strengthening their pursuit of the Paynesville Sub-Committee LFA league title, Todd Football Club has announced the signing of Coach Prince J. Morris as Deputy Coach from their rivals, FuanFuan FC. The deal, believed to be a long-term commitment, marks a strategic shift as Todd FC builds a solid technical team ahead of the 2024/2025 season.

Coach Morris brings a wealth of experience to the Todd Army, having led FuanFuan FC to back-to-back qualifications for the Montserrado Championship, now the Third Division League. His proven track record of success is expected to bolster Todd FC’s ambition to claim the league’s top spot.

At Todd FC, Morris will work closely with the club’s head coach, Kaifa M. Sirleaf, a CAF License C holder. Sirleaf expressed his excitement about Morris’s arrival, praising his tactical expertise and competitive experience. "We are thrilled to have Coach Prince join our technical staff. His leadership and accomplishments make him a valuable asset as we gear up for a successful season," Sirleaf said.

Varney scores first international goal for Watanga

Watanga's new sensational Varney B. Varney scores his first international goal against Sierra Leone Premier League Champions Bo Rangers FC in a 2-2 draw.

Varney put his side in a 2-1 lead for the second time in the 78th minute before a late equalizer in the 90+7 minutes from a resilient Bo Rangers side.

The striker who just joined Watanga on a season loan from Todd Football Club has started to fit in the team's style of play as he gets his first International goal.

Watanga is on a preparation tour in Sierra Leone ahead of their CAF Preliminary against Algerian Club MC Alger. They played three matches, lost one, won one, and drew one.
