FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE:

The Prudential Movement appreciates President Joseph Nyuma Boakai Sr for the preferment of its Arrowhead Hon. Rustonlyn Suacoco Dennis as President/CEO of the National oil company of Liberia , and extend thanks to The Liberian Senate for an overwhelming vote of confirmation.

April 3, 2024.

Soul Clinic District 4 Montserrado:
Many thanks to the President of the republic of Liberia for bestowing explicit confidence in the arrowhead of the Prudential Movement through the appointment as President/ CEO of NOCAL.

On February 7, 2024, the office of the president appointed Madam Rustonlyn Suacoco Dennis to administer the affairs of the National Oil company of Liberia. The appointment came on the basis of our leader experience, skills, competence and credential qualification specifically in the Geo-Petroleum and managerial field.

As required by Law, the Position of the NOCAL CEO is subject to confirmation by the Liberian Senate, and so on March 19, the Senate committee on Natural resources & Environment conducted a confirmation hearing and onwardly submitted a report to the office of the President ProTemp of the Liberian Senate. In their report, the committee recommended that Hon Rustonlyn Dennis-Marshall be confirmed based on her full understanding of the running of NOCAL, her qualification and her past leadership role played in Liberia.
In keeping with due diligence, on
yesterday April 2nd, confirmation votes of 24 out of 25 sentors in session were counted in favour of Madam Dennis, thereby confirming the president nomination of NOCAL CEO.

Heartfelt appreciations to the 55th Liberian Senate for trusting in the ability of our leader and Arrowhead of the Prudential Movement. We are optimistic that a unique task will be achieved at NOCAL.

As a Trained GeoScientist with a towering experience in the petroleum sector, and a former lawmaker who was privileged to work on the ammendment of the NOCAL act, we are confident that Madam Dennis and her team at the National Oil Company of Liberia will ensure a rebranded and new NOCAL as stated in her plan of action and agenda for NOCAL; presented during the confirmation hearing.

The selection, vetting, nomination and confirmation of Madam Dennis as CEO of NOCAL, is a renewed hope to the young generation and a wake up call to young Liberian females to consider venturing in the field of Geology and Petroleum science as our country possess a great potential in the Geo-Petroleum sector.

Madam Dennis earned her BSC in Geology from the University of Liberia, and moved on to the University of Manchester in the United Kingdom where she also acquired a Master of Science in petroleum Geoscience.
In addition to her many trainings and certifications in Geoscience, Administration and Management, Madam Dennis is also Candidate of law degree at the Louis Arthur Grimes school of Law.

As Liberians eagerly look up to a more better Liberia in utilising it's natural resources for the general benefit of its citizens, we are hopeful that madam Dennis will use her expertise and work collectively with the Board of Directors, the various Vice Presidents at NOCAL and the working force in totality so as to revamp the institution and make it a focus point of Revenue generation.

If you Believe in better, believe in God and keep the faith.
