Our music industry can boasts of a rich musical heritage, with great artists who have the potential to shine on both the local and international stage. However, behind the scenes, there's a troubling undercurrent of conflict and offenses among many of these talented individuals.

Instead of supporting each other's endeavors, too many artists seem consumed by jealousy and rivalry. From public spats on social media to behind-the-scenes destruction, the toxic culture of dislike or hate is holding back the entire industry.

One of the most damaging aspects of this rivalry is how it stifles creativity. Instead of collaborating and exploring new musical avenues, our artists are more focused on one-upping each other. This is not only limiting their artistic growth but it is also hindering the development of Liberia's music scene as a whole.

It's time to turn the page on the era of division and discord. Let's write a new chapter—one characterized by collaboration, mutual respect, and a shared commitment to elevating Liberian music on the global stage. 🎶✊

If yes, then why the unnecessary bad-mouth?

It brakes me to see people of prottenal degrade and makes our way of life wealtlesss all because of likes and views, but yet still Liberians support their act and watch our existence wash away.

The movie has graped a lots of Liberian attentions and people are loving every scene in the movie but there is something no one is talking about, that's why I'm here to point at, the movie is good, from the cuts transitions audio, sound score, effects, and storyline but sad enough that they go so deep into our culture and tradition. The writer should've had a limitation in his narrative not to present our culture to the outside world as a bad practice.

After watching this project couple of times, I got to know that the director or the writer was trying to speak against two main points. One has to do with the ❌ and early ✔️.

As a concern citizen and a man that still have love and respect for our culture, my attention was drown to the writer's or the director's intrusion in to our culture most exspecially the .

A brief summary on the Sande society. The , also known as bundo and bondo, is a women's initiation society in Liberia, Sierra Leone, Guinea and even the Ivory Coast. The Sande society initiates girls into adulthood by rituals including female ge***al mutilation. It is said by its supporters to confer fertility, to instill notions of morality and proper sexual comportment, and to maintain an interest in the well-being of its members throughout their lives.

This way of life has been practiced by our ancestors years upon years and it's Wilde believed that those that are members of this society are taught to have values and skills for the rigors of adulthood ✔️✔️.

On this note, I totally go against the writer of Breaking of the Bush going so deep in to our Culture. Not just speaking against the Sande society, but the writer/Director when at head showing some of the major happening within the sande Bush which was actually worng for we that still believe in the Liberian culture and tradition. He also presented this Sande practice to be that people in reral communities in Liberia are forcely initiatived which is very worng narrations about the society.

There are scenes in this movie that totally Exposed some of the major happening within the sande Bush which is a very top secret that the society presents to its members I want to believe.

The next point is early child marriage which I see it as one of the brilliants point in his writing. He totally speaks against it which I agree with him cuz now a days children are hardly been victimized as a result of early child marriage.

I love Liberia entertainment, I love contents from Liberia but for presenting our way of life to the outside world as bad or going against things that movie the spirit of our ancestors back then is worng and don't show any sound of respect for them.

The Liberian community knows how to support and promote entertainment yes but can not promote their own. What is so special about this movie that it has taking over Facebook by the Liberian people. Even me as a Nigerian, I appreciate this work but not to that extent as Liberian are carrying it.

I watched this movie 30 minutes after the producers uploaded it on YouTube. Although it is a great film and I must applaud the director and his crew but to be honest with you, it's just one of the same movie you been❌😥 watching from Time to time.

My main points here is Liberian are celebrating this film like it is the best film Africa has ever producing over the years. Don't get me worng this movie is good but not that emotional as people claiming it to be, it really not that emotional to cause you tears upon watching.

Even as a Nigerian I do watched Liberian movie and there was a film that came out from Liberia in 2023 call if I can still remember. That film have a very unique story lines but with all the promotions that they did for that project we couldn't hear or see Post on the internet as we are seeing is going viral by Liberian community.
Liberia learn to promote and love your own.
