Fast & Prayer Day PJY

At times I wonder after been led by the Holy spirit to Preach the Holy word of God and then I see other poor believers judging me saying I am hiding behind Jesus Christ.. Do you want me to hide behind you? A mortal and sinful man like you? Maybe you don't need salvation but as for me, I am working deligently while you're judging. I think for you, you're perfect so no need to pray. You are already in heaven... But remember that the Bible is repleted with instances where God used the worst people and transformed them to his will.. Be wise for once:

Read the below verses. They are some of my pillars..

“Cast your burden on the Lord, and He shall sustain you; He shall never permit the righteous to be moved” (Psalm 55:22).

Isaiah 1:18 King James Version (KJV)
Come now, and let us reason together, saith the LORD: though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they be red like crimson, they shall be as wool.

“Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For My yoke is easy and My burden is light” (Matthew 11:28–30).

In Philippians 4:6-7, we are commanded, “Don't worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need and thank Him for all He has done. Then you will experience God's peace, which exceeds anything we can understand. His peace will guard your hearts and minds as you live in Christ Jesus.”

Happy Holiday's..

Let the Children of God who see this say Amen..🙏

"I know I do not have longer days on earth but I am not dead yet, they helped me before and I am calling on them to please help me again" I am sleeping with hunger, sometimes I eat only cassava if my son does not succeed in asking people in the day". At times, nothing at all".
Please, let them help me with food, my God will reward them"

The old lady in these photos is called Ma-Gormah.
The man sitting on her left is her 3rd and only son currently alive, his name is David Flomo.
According to him, this old lady will turn 121 years old this year.

In 2022, journalist J. Titus Yekeryan renovated her house with the contributions of caring Liberians from the diaspora.
Melvin Siakor of Across Africa also contributed to the process.
Luckily, the house was renovated and turned over to Grandma.
During that time, people contributed food as well to her.
Almost two years later, Grandma has been left by herself to take care of her own needs. Her son is old, and they both live together in Gbarnga.
With no source of income, Grandma stays home all day and his son goes out to beg for help.
The little boy in the middle is the old man's grandson.
It's two years now he has not been in school.
"His Dad is no more and his Mom is nowhere to be seen"
Grandma has asked us to do an official appeal to those who helped renovate her house and to everyone who will see this post to help her with food and clothes.
"I am not dead yet, they helped me before and I am calling on them to please help me again" I am sleeping with hunger, sometimes I eat only cassava if my son does not succeed in asking people during the day". At times, nothing at all".
Please, let them help me and my God will reward them"

Yes, the Liberian People are suffering, but you are part of the reason why – Where is Bomi County’s US$14 million?

Martin K. N. Kollie writes…

Someone just sent me a video of Senator Edwin Melvin Snowe, and he is seen blasting the U.S. government for neglecting Liberia. Snowe filibustered in session for 15 minutes and 38 seconds.

Snowe screamed at the U.S. but in pretense and hypocrisy, “…Our people are suffering. People come here and exploit our resources.”

Yes, we agree with Snowe that people come here and exploit our resources. Yes, we agree with Snowe that the Liberian people are suffering. But Snowe must agree with us too that he is a major part of the reason why the people are suffering.

Let’s prove this by profiling the filibuster-in-chief:

Full name: Edwin Melvin Snowe, Jr.

Date of Birth: February 11, 1970 (54 years)

Place of Birth: Mano River, Grand Cape Mount

Nationality: Liberian

Passport: Liberian: D-005640 and ECOWAS D-00172

Occupation: Lawmaker

Representative: January 2006 – February 2021

Speaker of HOR: Jan. 29, 2006–Feb. 15, 2007

Senator: February 2021–Present

Yes, the Liberian people are suffering, but you cannot be the political pontiff to lecture us on this subject because you’ve been at the center of shady (corrupt) deals in Liberia that have subjected the people to exploitation, abuse, and mass suffering. Let’s prove it:

1) Through dubious means, Snowe engineered the return of Western Cluster, and US$14 million was clandestinely waived without due diligence (no legislative approval and no PPCC law). The US$14 million is still unaccounted to date. As the people of Bomi County continue to languish in abject poverty and misery, Snowe has built a mansion in Bomi County that is even more valued than the Capitol Building. Should we blame America for this too? https://independentprobe.com/2023/01/27/liberia-senate-angry-over-western-cluster-tax-waiver-without-their-approval/ and https://analystliberiaonline.com/snowe-to-be-impeached-for-western-cluster-as-bomi-citizens-rally-20k-signatures/.

2) A 2004-2005 Audit report conducted by MGI Monbo and Company Auditing Firm exposed massive corruption at LPRC when Snowe served as Managing Director. The 34-page audit report, which is in our possession, indicts LRPC Managing Director Edwin Snowe for significant corruption. Millions of USD were unaccounted for when Snowe served as MD according to MGI Monbo Auditing Firm. Is this the same Snowe that wants to lecture us about, “…The PEOPLE are suffering.” When did he get to know that the people are suffering? After building mansions and estates from public resources? Snowe did not become “rich” by competing in the private sector. He became “rich” out of the suffering of the people. He’s been a leech on the public treasury. Like Nathaniel George McGill, Thomas Fallah, Saah Joseph, etc., so is Edwin Snowe.

3) This same Snowe was impeached and removed as Speaker of the House for bribery in January 2007.

4) Snowe was accused of holding a secret meeting with Taiwanese diplomats in Gambia to commit Liberia. His action was a violation of Liberia’s foreign policy https://allafrica.com/stories/200607210283.html,

5) This same Edwin Snowe was impeached over allegations of CORRUPTION https://www.voanews.com/a/a-13-2007-01-19-voa43-66691437/558571.html and https://reliefweb.int/report/liberia/usaid-field-report-liberia-apr-jun-2007

6) This same Edwin Snowe was placed on a travel ban and financial sanction along with 11 ex-officials who hugely benefited from corruption and mismanagement of public resources under ex-President Charles Taylor. The U.N. Security Council Resolution 1532 at its 4925th meeting on March 12, 2004 https://undocs.org/Home/Mobile?FinalSymbol=S%2FRES%2F1532(2004)&Language=E&DeviceType=Desktop&LangRequested=False.

7) Who is Snowe to lecture us about “The People Are Suffering” when he has had the opportunity as a lawmaker for 18 years now to change the appalling condition of the people? Did anything change in District #6 when he served as Representative? No. Has anything changed in resource-rich Bomi since he became Representative/Senator? No. Bomi still remains one of the poorest counties in Liberia while Western Cluster continues to ship millions of tons of iron ore through a dubious arrangement engineered by Snowe and others. Is this the man that wants to talk about “The People Are Suffering”? How could Snowe and others even sign an MOU outside of the established procurement law? https://thenewdawnliberia.com/cental-wants-zero-tolerance-on-corruption-in-western-cluster-deal/.

8)Here is Snowe expressing regret for ratifying a shady APMTerminal Concession Agreement. But today he’s claiming that the people are suffering https://allafrica.com/stories/202105070456.html.

I will stop here for now. The next time, he talks about “The People Are Suffering” again, I will dig further. Yes, the Liberian People are suffering, but you, Snowe, are part of the reason why the people are suffering. Yes, people are exploiting our resources, but you have signed almost every bogus concession agreement in that Legislature since 2006. You are not sanctified to sermonize the suffering of the people. After all, when did you even become a political pontiff? You better allow us to hear in our ears. The people of Bomi want their US$14 million. I call on the Boakai-led administration to pursue this case.

I am posting your most recent mansion in Bomi in the comment section 👇 even though our people in Bomi can barely afford a meal per day.

After the signing of the famous & historic War Crimes Court Resolution, Snowe took to open plenary to blast the Americans for allegedly being cause of Liberia’s under development, backwardness and failed state.

On the contrary, the CDC SG said Liberians are the author, publisher and readers of their problems and not the West.

STATE PROSECUTOR CONFESSES TO BEING A CDC AFFILIATE!
---Says he has no regrets or apologies.

The Friday, April 5, 2024 edition of one of Liberia's top talk shows, Spoon Talk, was considered one of the most captivating and revealing editions when Cllr. Lafayette Gould, one of the state prosecutors in the murder trial of former Chief Justice Gloria Musu Scott, admitted to being an affiliate member of the Coalition for Democratic Change (CDC), and campaigning for the re-election of former Resident George Manneh Weah.

Cllr. Gould returned to the show after his previous appearance on Thursday night, April 4, 2024, at which time the panelists highlighted the issues of his withdrawal as Assistant Justice Minister for Litigation-designate, along with Cllr. Bobby Livingstone, Deputy Information Minister for Public Affairs-designate, and their controversial roles in the distribution of US$150,000 and other monies given to the prosecution team during the trial at Criminal Court 'A', Temple of Justice.

Some panelists on the show had earlier on Thursday, April 4, 2024, highlighted Cllr. Gould's role in the CDC 2023 campaign and posted pictures of him in his CDC regalia and paraphernalia, campaigning for former President Weah as far back as 2017, which culminated to his elevation by President Weah, as Assistant Solicitor General at the Ministry of Justice and one of the government's prosecuting attorneys, something which the panelists described as disappointing and troubling.

In response to the concerns of the panelists, Cllr. Gould admitted that he is a CDC affiliate and that he has no regrets or apologies for supporting and campaigning for former President Weah's re-election quest and current President Joseph Nyuma Boakai and the Unity Party.

The young Liberian lawyer struggled repeatedly to justify that he has never been a registered member of the CDC, but rather an affiliate, stating that his party, All Liberian Party (ALP) endorsed the CDC in the second round of the 2023 election, and so, he, as a legislative candidate of the party for District #11, Montserrado County, had no other option but to support the CDC.

He also admitted to campaigning for the CDC in 2017 as well, referencing one of the pictures posted by a panelist, to be that of him and the then CDC Youth Chair, Jefferson Koijee at the Samuel Kanyon Doe Sports Complex in Paynesville.

Many of the panelists expressed disappointment in the conduct of Cllr. Gould and what they termed his poor defense for getting actively involved with the campaign of former President Weah and the CDC, one of the two parties in a crucial run-off election, after he (Gould) had earlier been promoted by President Weah, to the position of Assistant Solicitor General of the Republic of Liberia.

Cllr. Gould's confessions came in the wake of sustained institutional and individual calls for President Boakai government to ensure a full scale investigation into the corruption accusations being traded by some officials of the Ministry of Justice, over the usage of US$150,000 given to state prosecutors.

On the Thursday, April 4, 2024 edition of the Spoon Talk Show, news of another figure of US$200,000 was revealed in connection with the Gloria Musu Scott trial, amidst speculations and fears of jury tempering.

Cllr. Nyanti Tuan, who was Solicitor General during the trial, was investigated, held liable, fined US$250 and suspended from the case by Judge Roosevelt Z. Willie, for breaching jury rules by going to the Temple of Justice, and visiting the jury quarters around 8:00pm on September 13, 2023.

It was reported some time in January this year that some of the jurors had wanted to confess to some malpractices but were deeply concerned about their safety.

The prosecution team in the murder trial of the former Chief Justice Gloria and three of her family members, received the amount in question (150,000) for a change of venue for the trial but the case venue was not changed, and the money was controversially expended by the prosecution lawyers including Cllrs. Bobby Livingstone, Adulphus Karnuah, Swahilu Sesay, Lafayette Gould, and others, who are now accusing each other of corruption in the distribution of said amount.

A new group, pro-democracy group, Democratic Watch Forum (DWF) recently joined another civil society group, Independent Civil Society Union of Liberia (ICSUL), and several individual voices to welcome the recent withdrawal of Cllr. Bobby Livingston and Cllr. Lafayette Gould as Deputy Information Minister for Public Affairs and Assistant Justice Minister for Litigation-designate respectfully.

The nominations of the two lawyers generated wide-spread public condemnations for their role in the distribution of the money and trading of corruption accusations in the US$150,000 saga.

Anti-Corruption activists say amidst the corruption controversy involving the names of Cllrs. Bobby Livingstone, Adulphus Karnuah, Lafayette Gould, and Montserrado County Attorney Swahilu Sesay and others, the best President Boakai could do was to ensure they face either the Liberia Anti-Corruption Commission (LACC) or the General Auditing Commission (GAC) to account for the hundreds of thousands of dollars of taxpayers' money.

The latest civil society group, Democratic Watch Forum wants these Justice Ministry officials subjected to an independent process of accountability to establish what happened to the huge sums of money they divided among themselves.

This, according to the CSO group, would ensure that President Boakai's government does not condone corruption as he has always proclaimed and professed.

DWF says it concurs with other advocates that what was even more troubling is the fact that the current fight over the usage of the controversial US$150,000 was preceded by the fining and suspension of former Solicitor General, Nyanti Tuan by Criminal Court 'A' Judge, Roosevelt Willie after being found liable for breaking jury rules or attempted jury tempering.

According to the group, a GAC or LACC intervention in the matter could also shed light on whether part of the US$150,000 was used to illegally interfere with the case through a possible jury tempering and other pmeans.

The two CSO groups have, however, praised President Boakai for withdrawing Cllrs. Livingstone and Gould, a move which shows that the current government is endeavoring to live up to its campaign promise of not doing public business as usual.

They are however calling on President Boakai not to stop at the withdrawal of the two lawyers but should also subject them to an investigation to know what actually happened to the huge sum of public money and institute the appreciate measures against whoever is culpable.
